Scottie Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 I have it on good authority that Rupert Lowe is furious at Chelsea copying our Dutch revolution.
Mole Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 What a pointless OS article... I think the article is designed to make us all think Mr Chocolate is in the same league managerial wise.
SaintRobbie Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11350 'I think its very strange that more Dutch managers have not been taken on by Premiership Clubs.' At the end... words to that effect. Well Wotte guess what? I find it even more strange that no CCC teams have either... and all but 1 are above your team. SHURLEY SHUM MISHTAKE? It's cos Dutch managers are generally ****e Wotte. OK? Glad to have been of assistance.
SaintRobbie Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 I think the article is designed to make us all think Mr Chocolate is in the same league managerial wise. Its not - its designed to make us think that the best have Dutch managers and so do we. Feel good factor alert! ! ! OS - we are not Chelski... we are a poor CCC team under a Dutch manager. errrr.... using that logic Chelski fans must be ****ting themselves. hypochondriac Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 I think the article is designed to make us all think Mr Chocolate is in the same league managerial wise. Hence why it is pointless because the results speak for themselves. Also why should nationality make any difference? It's almost like they are saying Wotte is Dutch as well so he must be good! Look how good the Dutch are at football...
Badger Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 I think the article is designed to make us all think Mr Chocolate is in the same league managerial wise. Yes,its the OS promoting Wotte "by association".Ask Hiddink about Wotte, that might be a more illuminating reference. Rather like Lawrie trying to publiscise the brilliance of appointing Pearson on the back of a vague (name dropping) reference to Sir Anal Ferguson who rated Pearson highly.A reference and endorsement never seen or heard of elsewhere. Rather like Lawrie trying to publiscise the brilliance of appointing Pearson on the back of a vague (name dropping) reference to Sir Anal Ferguson who rated Pearson highly.A reference and endorsement never seen or heard of elsewhere. I can only assume that's what they are trying to achieve. This should go in the Golden OS Article Archive along with those pearlers from when Lowe was trying to maintain his grip on the Chairmanship. ottery st mary Posted 11 February, 2009 Share Posted 11 February, 2009 Maybe Wotte is angling for a position as Youth Director at Chelsea. I have put his name forward but the reply came back, We would rather have JP, more experience.

Saint Bones Posted 12 February, 2009 Share Posted 12 February, 2009 Well it's not really Saints related - But Big Guus is a great manager. Pity we couildn't have signed him. Saint_clark Posted 12 February, 2009 Share Posted 12 February, 2009 I'm sure Hiddink is breathing a huge sigh of relief after finding out that the football guru Mark Wotte has given him his backing. I'd imagine him and Chelsea haven't actually signed anything concrete yet, they were waiting for our mastermind of a manager to give it the go ahead. Torrent Of Abuse Posted 12 February, 2009 Share Posted 12 February, 2009 It's like a quiet day on the Echo newsdesk... LOCAL VICAR GIVES THUMBS UP TO NEW POPE "I approve", says inconsequential local cleric. That said though, if a shared nationality is all it takes to pass on your backing to the appointment of a fellow countryman, then can I just say that I wholeheartedly support Lucy Pinder in whatever job she's doing right now and I'd gladly back her to the hilt. Anytime. Anywhere. Repeatedly... :-)
