Wages not paid and have been called in for a meeting. There are some very unhappy employees, as they have standing orders etc(staff) that have bounced. Called into a meeting today midday. Lets hope the news they hear is not too bad.

So Leon isn't cashflowing staff wages?

I would have thought that the curtain falls and so as I put yesterday the wages pot will go into the creditors takings, unless a consortuium comes forward with the down payment.Allegedly they are going to this morning, but no news yet.

Well at least according to th FL we are already in Admin so wont get deducted any further points when SFC ltd actually does go into admin?

But people keep telling us SFC can't go into admin, it'll go straight to liquidation.

Is this admin / support staff? Are player wages taking precedence over support staff?
If Fry winds us up noe will get paid but the money will be put in the pot to make it bigger for the creditors to share. The staff i assume become part of the creditors.Just my assessment.

I feel sick in the stomach as there will be no official news until after the staff are told at midday i expect.

Depends which part had the money surely? we keep hearing the club is seperate to the PLC, and that the administrators arn't in charge of SFC, to be honest if SFC were in admin the wages would have to be honoured by the administrators.

Hope the FL are watching this as all the time SFC must be edging closer to trading insolvent, and if it does drop into admin how will they decide a penalty on that? Also perhaps the deal for Dyer will lead to Notts County getting paid first for McG?

Perhaps Leon's money paid some other bills from companies threatening to go to court to get their money?

I dont think that is right. It will mean we wont be out of admin in time for us to avoid the extra minus points. Not sure in this case what those areand quite possibly we may not be able to guarentee to play our fixtures and so expelled from the league. That might be a very extreme scenario.Lets hope MJ's or another lot do in fact deliver.

I don't think that is an option. This just means that SFC ceases to exist - there is no option for it to go into admin when its parent company is already in admin is there?

Feck knows...TBH,... I guess it all depends on who holds the rights to the assets - eg player registrations etc, SLH or SFC ltd...

Anyone else read the OS headline "Pick up a piece of Saints History" along with the image of the '76 team and think "that's it we're being wound up and are having a closing down sale - including the contents of the trophy cabinet"
Errr, no! At least not me anyway. I just thought they were advertising one of these memorabilia fairs.

Well LOwe /club did pay 10k for Rodrigues FA cup winners medal - Its sad to see that part of teh clubs history like that are now in the hands of the administrators...
I think he had it back for a while at SOS. If he had any sense he would have slipped away with it still in his pocket.

nick no fan really wanted admin...but we were heading that way and the way it was going Rupert never was the saviour.Should have shown humility and joined forces or the like...The absent fans would have been absolutely minimal....We can all blame a lot of different causes...But I repeat Ruperty once his make a sell a player was not working from early meant we was doomed....Even around xmas he had no plan B really and none of his consortium dipped their hands in their own pockets...For a big consortium..Ruperts Mob...very strange.

Not blaming anyone now....But this started back in the old days when we did not even begin paying off the stadium..

Takeover....Let us hope pinacle/Souness/Anderson, Gregg or whoever get it sorted quick....I believe there are skeletons and even some creditors are our old mob...Something wrong that deters prospective buyers and always has been....Maybe we will end up with more train pictures and Pete Watermans miniture (sorry for spellin) railway running around the stadium..would please some.

Crouch money has helped a great deal..possibly players wages...But many staff not paid particularly ancillary staff/part time etc..not April or May YET.:(

Taleover now PLEASE.

Seems like there may be some good points in there - I just couldn't understand any of it. Translation please. Edited by kpturner

Sad to say almost certainly yes because if the club defaults on their salaries it is in breach of contract and the player becomes a free agent i.e. we don't get any tranfer fee for any player we are negotiating a sell on

it is not a day for those arguements. I will hold my counsel on this occasion.I feel pretty worried. If we dont hear very soon, the club is gone. I expected a small leak of good news by now but nothing.

Let's wait and see what 12pm throws up (except last nights dinner), i'll tune in to Solent and hear what, if anything, they say.

Except that we never hear the outcome of meetings, press conferences, etc that get reported as happening on here. Apart from that....

My fear is that the financial institutional creditors would rather see us go out of business to set an example to other poorly run clubs.

Sad for the real people at SMS, the non football staff. They are the ones to be hit most. They cannot just walk into another club. Hope the mid day meeting will give them some encouragement but as the clock ticks the bell may begin to toll for Saints.

The genie that a Pompey fan let out of the bottle has really working his dirty deeds. No wonder they have been taken over all of a sudden their customer base has increased by a massive amount. We wont be going but there a large amount of people who will in time.
