OldNick Posted 28 May, 2009 Author Share Posted 28 May, 2009 So Leon isn't cashflowing staff wages? I would have thought that the curtain falls and so as I put yesterday the wages pot will go into the creditors takings, unless a consortuium comes forward with the down payment.Allegedly they are going to this morning, but no news yet. supaimpy_returns Posted 28 May, 2009 Share Posted 28 May, 2009 Depends which part had the money surely? we keep hearing the club is seperate to the PLC, and that the administrators arn't in charge of SFC, to be honest if SFC were in admin the wages would have to be honoured by the administrators. Hope the FL are watching this as all the time SFC must be edging closer to trading insolvent, and if it does drop into admin how will they decide a penalty on that? Also perhaps the deal for Dyer will lead to Notts County getting paid first for McG? Perhaps Leon's money paid some other bills from companies threatening to go to court to get their money? I dont think that is right. It will mean we wont be out of admin in time for us to avoid the extra minus points. Not sure in this case what those areand quite possibly we may not be able to guarentee to play our fixtures and so expelled from the league. That might be a very extreme scenario.Lets hope MJ's or another lot do in fact deliver. Horley CTFC Saint Posted 28 May, 2009 Share Posted 28 May, 2009 Is this admin / support staff? Are player wages taking precedence over support staff? Sad to say almost certainly yes because if the club defaults on their salaries it is in breach of contract and the player becomes a free agent i.e. we don't get any tranfer fee for any player we are negotiating a sell on
