I remember about a thread possibly last year where somebody in the no (can't remember if it was scout/coach) said it was done to he has poor footwork, this has stemmed from Newcastle days and something happened by chance that he got the Newcastle job. The poor footwork is the root cause for not only getting down for low shots (positioning of feet)but for coming and dominating box. The saves that look great are just when he spreads his frame and generally just hit him, atnautivic header, arsenal couple seasons ago etc. I sort of agree with most 'he's ok' could we do better? Probably but the club after the new deal won't pursue that, hopefully McCarthy can stay fit and push Fraser on

We were in for a couple of cb' s straight away to replace fonte, an ex Bayern cb, can't remember his name but he got injured the week before and another cb that by accounts was Fabian Schar, but as we had money from fonte sale Hoffenheim but there price up by 5m, hence we pulled out and went with Caceres as we desperately needed another cb be it back up or 1st/2nd choice

But It shouldn't have got to that, they shouldve paid the extra 5m for Scharr

Isn't it obvious the reason for us not on the box much is due to our sponsor , it's one thing sky paying us for our 10 games, but they won't want to promote virgin media, there main direct competitor, especially with all the slow mo's/highlights etc
