Then we'll still have problems in the wide attacking areas as Aribo isn't a winger and is as slow as Elyounoussi, and Armstrong has never really been more than serviceable out there (and absolutely appalling across the last ten or so games of last season). Not convinced.

No chance A Armstrong thrives as a lone striker. Too limited. All he's got is pace. Hold up play, link up, aerial - all hopeless. -
He won't. Miles away from being good enough for us. He'll do well to make a career in the football league.
-
Ruptured his Achilles. Hasn't been the same since. Lost acceleration. He'd still be better than all of our terrible wingers, but doesn't look like he's going to be a world beater anymore.

Opportunity for Small to pull his finger out and impress in pre season. Vokins didn't disgrace himself in Scotland. So we have options, to an extent.
-
I wouldn't. 10 goals, and an injury prone kid who has never played a season of senior football. That's not keeping us up.
-
Thought I saw Jake Vokins too.

And Shane Fucking Long.

Especially if they've got that incoming Djed Spence money burning a hole in their pocket. Seems pretty telling that no Premier League clubs are in for him.
-
You need 15+ points under the current WP system, and according to the online calculators he'd get 23 (11 points for appearances, 12 for the league he plays in).

I doubt we can afford to drop £20m on a player who has barely played senior football and has fitness issues. He's a bright talent, but thus far has only done it in youth football. Rhian Brewster to Sheffield United vibes. If we want Delap, a loan makes much more sense. See if we can get 10 games out of him, let alone 10 goals.

Let me get in early doors and declare him the new Titus Bramble. Prove me wrong, condiment boy. -
Would be more of a punt than Broja, who had at least played a season of senior football in Holland. Delap has only impressed in junior football, but his progress into the City first team squad has been hampered by a poor injury record. I'd be happy to have him on board, but if he's the only striker coming in, we're in big trouble.

All yours, Bazunu, Bazunu, Bazunu, ya ya.

So, if Hasenhuttl's being given the first 9 games (think that was the rumour) to prove his worth, that'll be a caretaker in for City away, and a new manager starting at home against West Ham.

Or the Saudi golf overlords. #noholesparred

Mystified by the hype around this bloke. Whenever I've seen him he just strolls around like he's a big deal and plays a few simple sideways passes. Can't or won't break into a sprint, or put his body on the line in a challenge. I don't see anything special there.
-
Benni went on loan to a non league side this season and, I think, didn't score even once. For a striker, that doesn't bode well for his future prospects.
-
Spurs about to drop £20m on Djed Spence (good player - attitude has supposedly been a bit iffy in the past). Maybe puts Middlesbrough in a position to make a permanent move for Adam Armstrong (rumoured to be sounding us out about a loan)?
-
Haven't got a clouseau who he is.
-
We need more Swedes. The team doesn't feel complete without them.
-
Broja was only here for a season and gradually got worse. Not sure you can count him as a "win" for the coaching department.
