Rubbish. Many got on his back at any given opportunity. Jack Cork was always everyone’s fan boy, despite being pretty average. VW was only relatively poor in his last season, by which time Cork had been sold.
-
 It was/is utter f ucking nonsense mate. I’m not trying to “bully” anyone, just find it amazing people come out and believe utter sh!te such as that.
-
Still under the belief that Chelsea didn’t care about the 3 points Saturday and that it was just to ‘get in our heads’. Perhaps that’s why Tottenham have been poor tonight.
-
Always excellent. Some right weirdo’s on here who at one point wanted jack cork in ahead of him because “he (VW) can’t pass” Arguably the biggest loss to us out of the lot.
-
I assume you’re joking and not stupid enough to actually think this? The reason they fought back was because they changed formation and brought on a world class CF who bullied our weak and sh!t CB’s. He done the exact same for Arsenal earlier on this year. In the last 2 weeks we’ve had a great chance to pick up 6 points, but we simply cannot defend.
-
It feels like he's ready to step down / be replaced in the summer... We can hope.
-
It is true, they were direct quotes from the player himself. Ross Wilson is doing a terrible job. The worse thing is, he’ll get a ‘promotion’ when Les f ucks off in the summer.

So someone who has been to every game this season, home and away, but can’t make the final because of a pre booked holiday (let’s say) doesn’t then deserve a ticket for the final? Have a day off with the I’m the biggest and bestest saints fan persona. Face it, were sh!t at the moment, a large number of our fan base (as with any club our size) are glory hunters/part time supporters who will only venture out for the odd/big occasion. Again, with any club our size, we have a core of 18-20k that will ‘support’ the club whatever and about 3-4K who are willing to regularly trave (what loyalty do the club offer to these btw??? Absolutely f all)l. The rest, they won’t like it but they’re armchair fans. As long a you get your ticket for the final, don’t let it bother you who else does. I’ve got my ticket and in my group I have friends who are going who haven’t been all season and won’t go again (unless we make the final). As long as they don’t get one at my expense, who really gives a ****. I’ve just accepted that our fan base / support is f ucking appalling.

Bartosz Bialkowski having a very good season at Ipswich. Recently broke into the Poland national team. Would be a good replacement for Forster if we don't feel like McCarthy is up to it (personally think we'll go with McCarthy and the young lad who's out on loan in Scotland - any idea how he's doing?)
-
What about those ST holders who generally can't make it? pre booked holiday's / arrangements, work commitments etc... I don't fall in that category, but this is a bit of a silly comment. Personally I think the club should also check all CCTV and anyone who arrived at the stadium late or left before the final whistle over the past 5 years, shouldn't be allowed to go either.
-
My guess is that these are Staff tickets which they weren't able to shift
-
Saints have made a right pigs ear of everything they’ve touched over the last 2 years.
-
He’s the forum whipping boy because he doesn’t run round like a headless chicken (Long), throw himself into tackles (Romeu) and isn’t from our academy (Stephens / JWP) One of our best players and most teams in the league would snap your hand off for a player with the quality Tadic has. An attack minded coach and a proper CF would get the best out of him, something he won’t get here. As others have said, we won’t realise how good he is until he’s gone. He’ll do very very well in Italy.
-
Which is exactly what we should be going for, the best candidate possible. Nothing against the law to stop us trying to attract a ready employed manager
-
How much has that £75 million (more like £50 after Celtic cut etc..) cost us in the long term? Probably our PL status c£200m a season... I don't know what you're trying to get at, but if you're trying to say Reed is a better chairman than Levy (nothing would surprise me with you), you're even more deluded than many think.
-
I wonder if, in the absence of Crane, Ervine will play as a second spinner. Was used as a spin bowler early part of last season. On paper looks a great side.
-
Hope they get a shot (and make it) at a bigger club soon - Championship might be a bit of a jump though, again, not sure they are experienced enough to handle the situation we will be in.
-
Neither are worth £50m - probably about the same (£20-£30m). Tottenham will demand a higher fee than us given their status and that their chairman knows how to negotiate.
-
I can't be the only one who will be extremely bitter and gutted if the victims win the CL?? The worst thing about it all is that they wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for bending us over every single summer since NC left. Lets hope they get Roma and get a good hiding (on and off the pitch).
-
In my mind, Ryan is easily England's best LB, probably even the best LB in the PL (not sure many more jump out as better?). at his age and the fact he's playing for us, he's clearly not worth £50 and £25m seems about fair - our hand is a lot weaker should we go down however. He's not had the best season this year (but then again, who has), but those of you saying he doesn't care / been half hearted etc.. don't have a clue what he's like as a person. FWIW, he does care and he has been giving 100% in every game he's played. He's been a great servant for the club and we should have let him go in the summer when he wanted the move after Puel ruined the squads moral. My money is on Rose going to City or United and Bertrand will go to Tottenham.
-
The same David Moyes that has Kept WHU up, probably at our expense. In an ideal world, everyone would love to give it to a young exciting manager, but the reality is that is a massive risk and one that has probably cost us our PL status. I think a few are really underestimating how difficult next season will be. We need someone who knows the league and the players he needs to get out of that league.
-
Agree - would be a massive risk, one I would prefer us not to take. whoever comes in next season has a very difficult job. They're basically going to have to rebuild the squad - I'm not sure Potter has the knowledge of the league or English football to do that.
-
We wanted him the summer he went to PSG (the season we appointed Puel) - Should we stay up, I'd imagine he will certainly be on our list. If we could attract him or not would depend on budgets I suspect.
-
Looks like the fans aren't the only ones to not hear from that muppet, once the going gets tough.
-
class. They come in, cause mayhem and f uck off at the first sign of trouble. In fairness, relegation and a rebuild at board level is probably the best thing that could happen. The trouble is, who will Gao appoint? Does he have the money or hunger to invest the money needed to get us back to the level we have previously seen?
