As with many other within the squad, Tadic did not get on with Puel.

Cedric is a very good RB. We’d struggle to get better. He was fantastic against Swansea. His height is an issue, but the CB should be smart enough to counter that and pull across. It hasn’t helped Stephens playing RCB as he is even worse in the air. He looks ideal for 3/5 at the back. His work rate and pace is a real asset down the right hand side.

Neither Puel or Mark Hughes are world class managers. Based on the evidence provided, Hughes is better at keeping a squad happy. Something Puel seems unable to achieve. Also worth noting that Puel finishes 8th and 9th when the PL was arguably at its weakest (outside the top 4/5) and Hughes has finished higher than that in the past.

And it’s 1 week until he’s sacked... for the second year running. It’ll be a shame to lose such a world class manager from the PL forever. That being said, I’m sure he won’t mind with the Madrid job coming up and what not.

Evans and Shaqiri the only 2 I would like us to sign and would improve our starting 11 imo. Although I wouldn’t be against these and think they’d improve us as a squad: Stoke: Ndiaye Allen West Brom: Rondon Jay (won’t happen I know) Gibbs - to replace Bertrand. Swansea: Ayew’s Mawson Would take the keepers from all 3 to replace Forster, but I doubt they’d join to play second fiddle to Alex and it’d be very harsh to drop him.

I’m not convinced Hoedt is as bad as most make out. For me, he needs a solid senior CB next to him. As did Lovren when he played next to Fonte. Easy to forget he’s a young lad (same age as Stephens).

Would love Aaron Mooy from Huddersfield. Think he’d be a great long term replacement for Steve Davis.

A CB or 2, certainly need a big ball winning CB. Shaqiri (apparently available for about £12m!!!) as a replacement or Boufal. Sisto or Promes replacement for Redmond A new CF to replace Carrillo/Long/Gabbi (who’ll probably go) I’d like a new CM to come in and play alongside Lemina.

This. I think we do deserve to go down, arrogance and incompetence at board level nothing short of discraceful. If we survive it’ll be down to luck more than anything else. Let’s hope we do and have a complete change on all levels and next season go again with a fresh start (I think id keep Hughes regardless now, really like him - even if results haven’t been great, performances have and the players seem to like him).

Considering we paid £20m for GC, £36m is a steal. Great player, perfect replacement for Mane and one we should have signed 2 years ago.
