What Gao needs to realise is that our profile will drop significantly when we’re in the championship. Thought we done alright today to be honest. First half was a bit disappointing though. Wolves is a very unique situation. I’d probably compare us to Newcastle (all be it they are a much bigger club) when they kept hold of their players.

He’s a very good player, underrated by so many on this place. He’ll be one that will push on to next level when he moves on, imo. 2 previous managers have wrecked him (as they have every other forward player in our squad) and he needs a big target man to play off. He’s superb for Serbia as he was for us under Koeman. The fact he seems to be one of the first name on the team sheets speaks volumes if you ask me. Not worth £40m though and we won’t get anywhere near that.

The man to take us forward and mount a promotion challenge next year, or not? I’ve not seen anything to suggest he is that good. Personally think we need a fresh start. Clear out of all current staff (including Kelv and Watson) and only keep a handful of players. A manager with championship experience would be nice, it’ll be key for them to know who they want and to bring in players with championship experience.

Full appreciate that we’re going down, pretty much without a fight, but I am not jealous of Leicester one bit. If they keep Puel as long as we kept MP they’ll be in our position next season as well. Shocking today (as were we) and pretty much exactly what we saw in the second half of the season under him. Turns out he is a pretty average manager after all.

9 points with Leicester, Swansea, Bmouth and Everton based on current form should be achievable. Unfortunately I don’t think we will as our defence just isn’t good enough. I think out of that we’ll get 1 win and 2 draws.

It’s a fair point, goes to show what a team playing for their manager can produce. Quality alone he is half the player Boufal and Tadic are, so is all of Brighton’s team to be fair.
