  1. This is 100% accurate.
  2. Out of interest have you not considered making this subscription based or having additional content for Patreon customers (perhaps interviews with ex players, which you’ve previously included in free pods Or even episodes with journalists like dan & Carl anka for example giving a little more info about the club off the pitch (transfers, contracts, take overs etc.), assuming they’re happy to do that). I for 1 would happily pay a monthly sub if it meant keeping the pod going. appreciate the admin is time consuming and a strain on the family life, but a bit of extra £ in the back pocket to take the family away at the end of the season might help! There are some awful Saints pods out there, but you guys have nailed it. It’ll be a shame to see it go (apart from we’ve seemingly gone down hill on the pitch since your pods started)
  3. I suppose easily is the wrong word, as they’ll be going into the final game needed to better Watford’s result regardless, but think they’ll pick up 2 wins in the next 2 games, at the very least 4 points. Everton have been absolutely dreadful. watford won’t win another game and their GD will take a hammering in the process.
  4. what, Watford (who’ve been absolutely awful since the restart) lose against arsenal & city... very likely. villa not beating West Ham or arsenal with a GD of + 3, again, very likely. I’d love for Bournemouth to go down, especially after the way they acted at our place back in October.. but I think they way they’ve been playing last couple of games they’ll stay up easily. I can see them winning both games. it was be very typical saints, to bottle it tomorrow.. seen it many times before. 2-1 Bournemouth for me.
  5. The trouble is, both JWP and PEH are both good at recycling play and keeping the ball with side wards and backwards passes. neither are great at passing the ball forward, which is why I think we struggle a bit in home games as we don’t really have a play maker to break teams down. both are very high energy and good at winning the ball high up the pitch though, which I don’t think will be that easy to replace. ive seen a few suggestions of Reed being given a chance. He’s had a great season at Fulham, but like PEH amd JWP, he doesn’t offer much going forwards. I think we need a bit more creativity in there, especially for home games. Smallbone might be the answer in a year or 2, but he isn’t yet. I like the look of jankewitz as well.
  6. This is effectively our second string with a handful of first team players. we have nothing to play for. probably got one eye on relegating Bournemouth on Sunday. calm down.
  7. You moan about the ref all game, every game 😂
  8. Which goes to show, which a few of us pointed out at the time, that 8th was a bit of a false position that season and was more about the standard of the league, rather than how well we had played. That being said, arsenal game aside, since the restart this is the best I can remember us playing... and that’s with a squad that in general wouldn’t get a sniff in the poch / Koeman teams.
  9. I never said high profile foreign players, did I.. you pedantic weirdo. Eddie done a great job at getting the best out of low profle, L1 / championship players. since the introduction of bigger names, inflated egos etc, there has apparently been a bit of unrest in the dressing room.
  10. To be fair, I’m led to believe there’s a fair bit of trouble behind the scenes at Bournemouth. Sounds like Eddie can’t manage the high profile / foreign players.
  11. I’ve watched QPR a few times this season and had a chat with a few of members of their staff. From what I’ve seen, Eze is clearly a level above anyone I’ve seen them play against, but he does go missing in games. pretty much either unplayable or very quiet, very inconsistent at the moment. Under some good coaching he has the potential to be a top player, I’m not sure that he’s ready yet and I don’t know if he’d suit our high pressing game. all in all, there’s a player in there, but I don’t know if he’s be a regular starter for us just yet. my opinion, of course.

Still waiting for a tangible action / recommendation to come out... other than defund the police, I’m yet to see one... perhaps, because the Uk isn’t actually institutionally racist?
  13. Unless we’re selling one of Adams or Obafemi, Watkins probably isn’t needed. Although that being said he’s probably better than both of them. for me, we need to prioritise a CM (preferably one who’s got a bit of creativity), CB and RB.

He’s used ‘gammons’ as an insult, which tells you all you need to know about him. no doubt rolls off other lefty buzzwords, he knows nothing about, on twitter, such as ‘austerity’ and ‘oppressed’.

Interesting choice of words from the BT Sports presenter as the players took a knee (again... why?) ”now the players make a stand about any form of racism” Further distancing from the BLM movement. back to kick it out, ASAP please.

They support blacks lives matter, but not the actual black lives matter. they don’t Actually support it, but still use the symbolic logo on their shirts. Clear as mud. ‘kick it out’, which is clear, concise, and inclusive of all. Obviously isn’t trendy enough without a self confessed Marxist cofounder. The only thing that is clear, is that they don’t support white (add any other Colour than black) lives matter.

Not gonna wash, I’m afraid. It was very clear from the start that BLM had hard left political undertones. It took 5 minutes of investigations to find that out. why not use kick it out or something like football against racism, which I think No one would argue with (although taking the knee for what seems forever more is a bit much and making the whole gesture meaningless). the PL, like the labour part and others are being left with egg on their face after BLM showed their true colours. All they’ve done is divide, which is a shame really.

Amazing how many people (In twitter) think voting conservative makes you a fascist. agree with Hypo’s comment above. It’s a word thrown around too often and my comment re fascism was tit for tat, although, there are undertones of fascism in the way that the left go about their business (as demonstrated by the very tolerant TWar here). Disagree with anything they say you’re a racist a Tory etc. It borders on bullying on social media platforms. the reality is, there are very little actual racists and fascists in the UK, generally speaking were a very tolerant nation... however, this BLM movement and the hard left are throwing us back 100 years.

How long do they continue to drop on a knee for? until capitalism is abolished or until When the police force are defunded? I don’t think anyone has an issue with anti racism campaigns, such as kick it out etc.. but BLM has hard left political under tones, donations contribute to a left wing political party, their supporters act like thugs and actual facists. perhaps you’re the one with the ‘diseased brain’ that you either cannot think for yourself or cannot see the political agenda behind it. Ironically, this antifa communist mob were crying about lack of police spending only 6 months ago.. now they want funding abolished 😂

I was following this on twitter yesterday. He basically insinuated that he is being forced to wear it. which is what many of us, rightly suggested that players / pundits are being forced into supporting BLM.. which ironically, is being a facist 😀

Exactly. Imagine a player decides for whatever reason they do not agree with the BLM movement (there’s plenty of reasons... vandalism, left wing Marxism being 2), and decide to not take the knee. The media will destroy them. they are being forced to take the knee and it’s a disgrace they’ve been put in this position.

I thought I had seen it had been banned, just checked again and it was for internationals, not PL.

The premier league have back themselves into a corner with this one. They never should have brought politics into football. Imagine they now don’t have the poppy come November..... also, when does it stop? BLM haven’t really been forth coming of ideas / solutions. Do we just have them taking the knee forever more? I for one, will not be pumping any more money into this club whilst it continues and I hope many others do the same.
  24. I thought the same, which led me to assume the following.... 1. They’ve been priced out and Burnley would be a cheaper option. 2. they’re in negotiations and this is a tactic. Look if we don’t buy you, we’ll buy someone else. or the unlikely options: 3. We’re not for sale 4. we’ve already got a buyer agreed.
  25. The Difference here is that Lemina is clearly has ability and is suited to the PL. wether or not he’s suited to Ralph’s style or has the attitude to give it a go is a different matter and probably won’t know until you chuck him in.
