the tables says we are the second best side right now. Enjoy it and worry about longevity if this form another day.

Ritchie to be sold and Pack likely to be loaned for rest of season or even sold too.

its not really a nightclub it's more of a stage show

The Complex and The End for me, although I had some equally good nights at The Opera House and the Manor. Been to Coco Bongo in Cancun - it was utter ****e.

not his best game passinfg wise, but bloody hell he was good in the air (his weakest facit in my eyes) and defensively superbe.

another very competitive and entertaining game. Exeter were a good side and only when they switched to a 4-3-3 at 2-0 down to chase the game did we really take total charge. Until then their three in the middle against our two, plus their short patient passing game caused us a few problems. We played well again. Our goals came at good times the first owing to a fair bit of good fortune, but our strength and quality out wide told. Very few negatives, Fonte is not as steady over the last few games as he has been, Lambert still isn't influencing enough and a few wasted opportunities...not much really which says a lot about how things are going right now. Loving it, and not before time as I ws very worried this season would never get going. Davis 7 not much to do but swept well and kicking fine Richardson 8 Strong and not beaten, very comfortable on the ball Fonte 6.5 No bad, but not great. He was stretched early on and not winning quite as much in the air. He has set such high standards and just falling a fraction short of them of late in my eyes. Needs to stop trying to do everything and being oulled out if position. A settled defence will help. Seaborne 7.5 solid as a rock, the better of the two for sure, won everything in the air in second half. I'm not a big fan but credit to him. Chipped passes not great today. Harding 6.5 just off the pace a little at the start, but got better as the game went on. Not back to last seasons best but needs a long run perhaps Lallana 9 Everywhere and immaculate again. Right on his game at the moment. Chamberlain 7.5 not quite as good as against Huddersfield, but still very good and we are now a threat on the break too. Morgan 8.5 broke down their play so often in second half. He is so quick to jump on oponents mistakes. Passing good today and despite him and Chaplow being against three cetral players they held their own whicnshows how well they played. Chaplow 8 less runs into opposing box but understandable as he needed to hold his position against their three. Another great game hussling opponents. Guly 8 great finishing and some nice link up play. My only criticism is that at times he is a bit stationary and we have two strikers that aren't stretching opposing centre backs, but what we lose there we gain in height and presence up the middle Lambert 6.5 Does Guly just steal his space? Other than more confidence with his shooting this ws the same as many games. I just didn't see the `run a game Lambert' of last season. Better but not his best. Barnard 6 goals and misses. Looks keen but a little rusty. Dickson 6 is he ever going score? He is going to be a very good player, and an excellent sub offering loads of energy and endeavour Gobern I like him, but he needs game time if he is to improve.

in the MK Dons away game in the league he was absolutely outstanding. He ran the game from start to finish and bullied their midfield. Strong in the tackle, quick across the ground to make every loose ball his, never giving the ball away... Must be something about that ground. Having three good players is essential if we are to get promoted.

I would suggest the low fee relates directly to his high wages. Its not so long ago that he got his prem move and players don't tend to reduce their wages much when switching clubs. -

well Hammond's biggest problem is his lack of pace. He works very hard but you'll often see him on his arse (after a desperate lunge)because he is just not quick enough (lesss so this season thsan last I might point out). With pace he'd play at a higher level without doubt. Chappers is certainly quicker across the ground but its his engine that you really notice. He just keeps going and going. Schneiderlin is very quick across the ground. I've seen him outrun opposing pacey strikers. A Morgan/Chaplow partnership might be the quickest around, but of course pace isn't everything. -
on loan and not getting game time. I'm far from convinced, he's just one o9f those strikers that causes us problems. Realistically we're not after a long ball merchant though. I wonder if Connelly will go out on loan from our place. Adkins doesn't seem to rate him.

some fans actualy rated BWP and totally disagreed with the `lazy' tag. Noone deal not complete by the way. I always liked Fallon. Might be a decent impact sub should we need to go long.
-
it will be, but if we are serious and totally ruthless then we certainly shoukd be looking at a centre back, a wide player and a striker or two. Whether the funds are there I don't know.

If Puncheon goes out, QPRs Lee Cook might be ideal to come in so long as his knee is now properly fixed. Top class player that could run teams ragged at this level. Warnock already said he is happy to let him go out on loan and its a shirt trip down the motorway.

was a handful in the recent game at SMS. Reminded me of the Bechio performance the season before. Lots of effort, never gave the CBs time to settle or an easy header.
-
Interesting. What more are you expecting? Goals might be the obvious thing perhaps, but he'll be playing more of a holding role if Chaplow ousts Morgan.

I have heard the rumour about a fitness coach crying to Cortese, I didn't realise it had expanded and was now fact. Until it is I don't freely admit that the four players got injured because of what happened in pre season. Holmes got injured a few weeks back, was that down to Adkins heavy training schedule? Injuries happen all the time. Also Barnard's hernia problem was well into the season. I disagree fully that Hammond was not fit. Quite the opposite, he is fitter than last season. Right now he is playing very well indeed and looking very strong, could Pardew's so called heavy pre season be the reason? If I recall he ran himself into the ground in that Plymouth game trying make up for the failings of a misfiring side. Here's some logic. Pardew had been a manger for over 12 years and done about 15 pre seasons of his own as a player. Unless someone can tell me that he has a history if ****ing players up with **** preseasons then I'd suggest the guy knows exactly what he was doing.

aye? He played two non-league games on loan back in 2006. Talk me through this yo-yoing as I don't understand what you are talking about.

teach them to turn Wotton out on his ear. Noone is left footed so I read. I guess we might be looking for a right winger, perhaps a right footed one should Puncheon leave. -

is it realistic that we sign a player from Huddersfield whilst both teams are competing for promotion? He certainly looked the part. -

very good point indeed and not something I considered. Big pat on the back for Adkins as it pretty much worked. I think I'd still be a bit dissapointed if I was Dickson as he is a very good defender as well. Not seen a winger beat him yet. Harding was given a tough time I might add and was far from his best. -

agreed, unless Puncheon comes back or we can get someone in better than we have - not easy with the two we have, but improving on Puncheon may be possible.
