Yes. Do you?

if your main issue with David is that he is picked every week why call him a sack of ****?

The FA Cup was damaged on the one day that it was not in PFC's posession. E.ON had it on on a promotional day and it was damaged then.

Wotte mentioned that the club is already in negotiations with players at the club who's contracts are up at the end of the season. He states that final decisions will be based on what league we are in. Just wondered if the league we are in effected peoples perception as to which players we should try to retain - which will depend on them wanting to sign and us beign able to afford them. Kelvin Davis seems a no brainer but what about the others? Poke Perry Svensson BWP Stern John Euell Jamie Hatch Lloyd James Jake Thomson Ryan Smith Jack Boyle Joseph Mills Jeffrey Imudia Andrej Pernecky Jamie White Michael Byrne And will we be able to sign Saeijs on a permanent deal? What's more are we looking to sign oput opf contract players fromother clubs because now is the time to start talking to them of we haven't already.

Why tar him with Lowe's dirty brush or does this relate back to the slagging of fans that you remarked on ealier in the thread? mid table Championship side next year would be OK wouldn't it based on the fact we will probably have even less money to play with than we did this?
-
so he was part of the play the youth policy, but did he choose that policy? When given charge of the decision he changed the policy having seen it doesn't work. I'm not sure I can give him stick for other of those things. I have to say though that the football has ben pretty unatractive since he took charge, but certainly more effective than the last few months of JP's tenure.
-
it's blatently obvious that they have tried to bring someone in but they have been unable to afford the right calibre. The players they could afford are not better than what we have.
-
Can you explain what you mean by slagging the fans? Does this have something to do with him suggesting non attending fans don't help the club avoid relegation?
-
to be fair to JP he never made excuses or blamed the poor quality of his squad. I think that was his most redeeming feature - he simply refused tio hide behind the fact he was dealt a poor hand and er, his hands were clearly tied.

if an administrator is put in place would the board/executive level employees be effectively out of a job. In other words, do they (Lowe etc) get paid to run the club when effectively someone else is doing it for them?
-
and how many people would be required?
-
I guess it's a `how long is a peice of string' type question, but how much are we talking here to pay the administrator? £10,000, £50,000, £100,000, £250,000?

the loan deal with Forest was all but signed and then Wolves offered him the possibility of Premiership football next season should he do well and they go up. We could not match that never mind the obscene wages he would demand.

Dean `Rugby League' Windass is a legend in 'ull, but sadly his best days have passed.

I don't hence my constant moaning about Skacel

This Season - Carbon Copy of Prem Relegation
Chez replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
last season had some similar traits to the relegation season - three coaches in a season - the second being totally out of their depth - failure to find a decent injury free centre back -
I posted something along the same lines a few weeks back after the Bristol City game. Every fan was filmed there as they walked up the steps to get in the ground. I completely object to this and see it is a breach of my civil liberties. What next? Coppers taking DNA samples or tagging football fans just in case something happens at some point somewhere in their football watching lives? I have no issue with the police at all. I appreciate the job they do and am under no illusion that there is trouble at games and they do a decent job of protecting innocent supporters. Having said all that I think they are overstepping the mark filming everyone and I think they need to appreciate that every day normal people that have no inclination of acting up at the football deeply object to this practice.

we embaress ourselves time after time. On the one hand we allow ex skates like Routledge to avoid any stick whatsoever then we get mugs abusing a player that will down in Saints folklore for scoring in the semi.
-
is it ****. Lazy and lacking in pace yes but poor first touch never.
-
normally I'd agree but there have been several games in the last couple of seasons that seemed to turn when the entire crowd started singing red and white army or OWTS continuously. The players seemed to react and up their levels leading to goals. Coinicidence perhaps but certainly noticeable.
-
I have considered this carefully and I have to say that when I can't attend an away game for any reason (bloody family weddings during the footie season pah) it hurts more when we lose and I have only been able to listened to the game or see the result on teletext. If I am at the game I can get things off my chest (apologies to anyone sat near me when I vent my frustration at yet another aimless hoof from Wotton), understand how the game went, see the effort players put in, witness the hardluck stories first hand and in general see what happened and understand that the game is not just all about the result. If you don't attend then the result is all you have so if it doesn't go the right way it hurts like hell. For that reason I wholeheartedly disagree that remote fans feel less pain when Saints struggle. Non attendees for any reason perhaps feel it more than me.
-
if its a do or die game for both then you can bet Forest fasn will be out in their numbers so that may limit the tickets we can take.
-
what on earth makes you think that there is spare cash. I think every last penny and more is being spent on fan favourite `Saganowski'. Fish and Bart are on peanuts. Who the hell do you hope to bring in using the great wads of money saved?
-
apologies to you and Alpine. Neither of you specifically effect my posting patterns, but those of you that deride posters for having hope just make the forum less appealing. I actually predicted in the summer that we would be relegated and it looks like I will be proved right, but you don't see me rubbing that in peoples faces OR stopping me hoping that we turn Blackpool over and give ourselves a fighting chance of survival.
