these two answers combined are the reason for him looking half the player he was before his injury. You could probably add that a lot of young players suffer dips of form at the start of their careers. Why are so many `fans' apparently so keen for him to fail and leave? If nurtured correctly this guy could turn out to be a real star.

wonder what the attendance would have been if the ticket price had been the normalo £25.

you go down when you have a lack of quality

If you can tell me one good thing Wotton did in that game I will be surprised. Saga is the most overated player ever. He can finish but his all round game is woeful. I'm a massive fan of Size but he was appauling. His showing reminded me of the Jacobsson displays.
-
I have been saying it for two weeks now that without Gillet covering the entire midfield we can't afford to play McGoldrick in the hole. Losing Gillett meant we needed to change the entire central midfield because Wotton is ****ing ****e and no good enough to do the same job. Wotte's hands are tied a little as he has no right back, no midfield and not much up front either.

What a terrible game, some of ugliest long ball ****e I have ever witnessed. Reminded me of thr Brantfort days. Its no wonder Surman and Lallana look terrible, the ball is hoofed oer their heads all day. I hate our style and don't want to be watching Wotton hoofing it anywhere all day long next season. Davis 7 - Great pen save, decent with crosses, no chance for goals, terrible distribution Thomson 2 - totally out of his depth, unbelievably lightweight, never a fullback in a million years. At fault for at least one goal. Shows the complete folly of not haing two right backs at the club. Saeijs 0 - terrible from start to finish. I simply don't understand how he went from being a regular 9 out of 10 to that load of cack. Poor decisions, weak, slow, didn't win enough in the air, clueless Perry 3 - I've been saying it all season that his lack of height costs us and it did today. Past it IMO. Skacel 4 - thumping your heart/badge to get the crowd going don't impress me. Stop blaming everyone else and do your job. Surman 3 - not helped by long ball style but playing poorly. Lallana 1 - stop playing him right midfield, get him in the middle or drop him. Wotton 0 - ****e and lucky to be on the pitch after that tackle. Mr Hoof is out of his depth at this level. So slow he could not catch a cold. McGoldrick 4 - started well but dissapeared totally. Why the hell we are playing a man in the hole leaving just one central midfielder is beyond me. Gillet performed miracles to keep us in games but Wotton is ****e and can't do his own job never mind two midfielders jobs. Euell 7 - terrific effort but just when we needed that touch of quality in front of goal he came up short. Saga 3 - good finisher but very average all round game.
-
Euell worked tirelessly and won numerous headers. Sadly he just lacked that class when he had the one on won. Davis made a few crucial saves plus the penalty. He wasn't without faul though as his distribution was appauling, at times putting our fullbacks under real pressure. BWP and Smith did OK when they came on, the rest were ****.

the fortnightly collection idea was very much tongue in cheak. However the idea that fans don't spend money in the city when they come is garbage. Parking alone is about £4 or £5, many many fans eat and drink before and after the game. Add to this people shop in town, stay in hotels and use public transport. I realise extra policing costs are a burden on the local tax payer, but make no mistake a thriving football club brings in a lot of money to the city. I appreciate your gran might not like footbal so why should she subsidise us watching Saints but the reality is that the city council would pay £2m a year for 12 years and then would own the stadium lock stock. During those 12 years they could rent the stadium back to Saints for say £1m and make additional revenue streams from concerts etc. so the real cost to tax payers comes right down. If you disagree then ask yourself why Leeds City Council bought Elland Road?

and they only sold 24k for that game.

in the current climate I can't see too many people being happy at handing over their hard earned to keep a football club afloat. After banks, I'd say professional football is viewed as the next worse thing in terms of greed and overspending. I know we all love the club, but why would any man on the street hand over their cash when they know it goes straight into the hands of overpaid premadonna footballers? What's required to save SFC is a businessman that has the right kind of money and nouse to speculate and accumalate.

does the buyer know the fridge has packed up?
-
we offer the right colour scheme for his brand, not sure we offer the right kind of marketing vehicle though seeing as we are close to the third tier of English football. If we was to enter this market he'd want to back a footballing giant.
-
no doubt it will be based on who has been to away games this season. Now I'm regretting buying on the day for most of the away games I've been to.
-
I thought they reduced the capacity a little this season to save themselves some money. There were 29,000 at the Derby game.
-
If they took over the mortgage that would be £2m a year out of their budget. That wouldn't treble your bill at all, in fact it might not increase at all if they decided to cut spending elsewhere. How about fortnightly bin collections in exchange for a football club?
-
when you put it like that it doesn't look good.

is there not an opportunity here for the debts to be cleared by someone offering 25p in the pound or such like to the creditors?
-
not neccesarily. Youth devlopment existed long before stapleford and the academy. Its doesn't cost much to hire a pitch you know especially during the week.

Wilde and Lowe have just been escorted from the premises
Chez replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
who says they have left SFC, they have only resigned for SLH as far as I can see. Has someone got a link to tell me otherwise? -
Lowe still a director of Southampton Football Club Limited
Chez replied to Beer Engine's topic in The Saints
I noticed that. Where is the confirmation that Lowe and Quisling have actually resigned from the football club? All I see is their resignation for SLH. -
Is the farm land owned by the club or the PLC?
-
What kind of hit are AVIVA and Barclays willing to take I wonder? What are the assets really worth if we were liquidated such as the farm, the training ground and of course SMS? What is the monthly wage bill for April, May and June?

I thought he came back to save his investment. That has failed. Perhaps he will walk away now? However maybe his desire to make that money back will encourage him to try and buy the club and make a profit out of it. He better than any other person knows if that can be done - make a profit I mean.

does admin mean that Lowe's 5%, Crouch 9% and Quisling's 16% are now pretty much worthless?
