  1. Says the man who started a protest movement about a football kit he didn't like, but still scuttled off to the club shop and handed his money over to buy the effing kit. #principles #spineless #unfittolead
  2. I enjoyed the procession of fat middle aged men desperately willing on the murder of millions of people in a nuclear holocaust. DOITDOITDOIT****INGDOITJEREMY
  3. Bottom threes are always crap. We did not "escape relegation". We were never, at any point in the entire season, anywhere near the relegation battle. Just a few hysterical idiots on forums like this pis sing their pants.
  4. I think I'd spend most of it repeatedly saying "er, can you repeat the question? Synergies with what now?"
  5. Ralph speaks German. He's going to make this b itch happen.

If we appoint Ranieri I will sever off a body part of this forum's choosing.
  7. It's made it into The Sun. The mini-poll on the site is still on a knife edge with only 92% saying he would be a better appointment than Claude. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3687981/southampton-new-manager-thomas-tuchel/
  8. That's the last time I go down the pub with him. My contact at the club is going to get sacked for this :-( :-( :'-(

  12. I have a contact very high up in the club who tells me stuff and I've been telling people down the pub for a couple of weeks now. We've been talking to Frank De Boer's representatives and also Schmitt. One of those is very interested the other isn't. I won't say which. Virgil wants out. We were close to signing Samedo but this has fallen through. It could be revived. I know for a fact that my contact is the same as ericb.
  13. Except theyre signing him as first choice but no one here is suggesting we sign him as first choice. Bournemouth still a smaller club/draw than us. Get over it.
  14. I won't believe it until AR-10 is on here pretending he broke the story.
  15. Except we won't have one of the smallest, will we? All those clubs that are mentioned are looking at 30k or so and some is vague, platitude-heavy non-commitment. In the case of WBA its been kicked so far into the long grass it's embarrassing. And Leicester ain't doing anything, regardless what Construction News make out. For completeness, let's do Swansea - yep, could be 33k, which is marginally bigger than us but the council, not the club will own the ground, which will significantly reduce the financial return. And they've done Jack so far, so hardly leaving us behind just yet. Everton we know about but all the other CL clubs are irrelevant to us. Spurs have waiting lists a mile long. They have gigantic unmet demand. We simply don't. We are not getting left behind and we have a stadium perfectly suitable for its purpose.
  16. Except, of course, the "this" that the Lib Dems "allowed" them to "do" was, like, the economic policy and direction of the entire country. And they get to run the nation's education. And the NHS. And foreign policy. And law and order and immigration, some bird called Theresa looked after that. And Justice. And pretty much everything. But, yeah, pupil premiums and Vince Cable got to go to China. That definitely means there was absolute no Tory government until 2015. Of course.
  17. Who was running the country and who was Prime Minister between 2010 - 2015 then? Dennis Skinner?
  18. What makes you think we won't have a pre-season home game? Like we have every single season since the dawn of time. I've got my crystal ball out and reckon it will be the weekend of 5/6 August. Just a hunch.
  19. You can suggest that, but it's nonsense. The Puel out thread has as many Puel in posters who obviously aren't going to post on the replacement thread, unless you expect them to type "Claude Puel" in every time anyone suggests a replacement. I think Puel should go but have no idea who should replace him. I'll see who is in the frame and then evaluate as the process develops. That okay with you? If not, I can only assume you identified and championed the appointment of Claude Puel from the very day Koeman resigned? Am I right?

The sword of truth has spoken.
  21. You what? Corbyn is and was pro-IRA, there's nothing to prove. It's just a fact as plain as the nose on your face. People like Mo Mowlam did what peace negotiators do - speak to people on both sides. Corbyn and gang did nothing of the sort, just chummying up to the IRA. McDonnell drooling over the bullets and bombs, hero worshipping the struggle against the evil empire. The history of the troubles and the peace deal is already written. Jeremy Corbyn isn't even a footnote. He's nothing.

Just looked Wikipedia. Swiss second division? What a tragic waste of such beautiful hair.
  24. I'm still in the Brendandino Rodriguez camp.
  25. Corbyn should do the BBC debate this week. He'll do fine in it - he was in good form tonight - and it would humiliate May and the not-particularly likeable Rudd for 90 minutes prime time TV. Open goals: negotiating Brexit? She's too scared to speak to us. Social care? She's too scared to front up to you, the people. She thinks she's got it in the bag, arrogant evil Tories. Etc etc etc and so on. They'd be mad to send McDonnell in (a vote losing smarmy commie tw at) when Corbyn could actually claw a little bit more vote share out of it.
