I have a contact very high up in the club who tells me stuff and I've been telling people down the pub for a couple of weeks now. We've been talking to Frank De Boer's representatives and also Schmitt. One of those is very interested the other isn't. I won't say which. Virgil wants out. We were close to signing Samedo but this has fallen through. It could be revived. I know for a fact that my contact is the same as ericb.

Except theyre signing him as first choice but no one here is suggesting we sign him as first choice. Bournemouth still a smaller club/draw than us. Get over it.

Except we won't have one of the smallest, will we? All those clubs that are mentioned are looking at 30k or so and some is vague, platitude-heavy non-commitment. In the case of WBA its been kicked so far into the long grass it's embarrassing. And Leicester ain't doing anything, regardless what Construction News make out. For completeness, let's do Swansea - yep, could be 33k, which is marginally bigger than us but the council, not the club will own the ground, which will significantly reduce the financial return. And they've done Jack so far, so hardly leaving us behind just yet. Everton we know about but all the other CL clubs are irrelevant to us. Spurs have waiting lists a mile long. They have gigantic unmet demand. We simply don't. We are not getting left behind and we have a stadium perfectly suitable for its purpose.
