Doesn't mean a lot, apart from a Premier League pay rise for him which he deserves, he's done it. If we're badly adrift come Bonfire Night he'll still get sacked.
-
The stuff about "right side of the draw" doesn't mean much when we are very capable of losing to the Netherlands and we will definitely lose to Italy.

SEVENTY THREE PERCENT MOTHERFUCKERS

Probably would have been equally amusing if Scotland had won 1-0 and went home anyway because their goal difference was terrible. But this will do. Absolutely dreadful team. Both of them were. And people still go on about how "International level" is some special, extra, higher standard. Is. it. Fuck. That was bottom of the Championship stuff.

RUSSELL MARTIN YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU

Hahahahahaha you fucking plank
-
You don't need to meet Nigel Farage to know he is a bullshitter. Do tell us all about the many hours and days you yourself have spent in his personal company though.

Amazing if even remotely true.

It will rise even if nothing happens at all because of what the Conservatives have (not) done on the tax bands/personal allowances. These changes when they take effect will be pounced on by the client RW press as proof that Labour were lying and "they" have put your taxes up. And obviously it will work an absolute treat.

Quite interesting that West Ham don't have a single match outside London until November. https://x.com/WHUFCallum_/status/1802975956623093896?t=VvZFJf14tJwIbX9JKwHjUA&s=19

Seems a pretty fucking simple "no" from every single Premier League player and every single Premier League agent.
-
Well exactly, we don't know what we asked for - we might not have asked for anything.
-
Well it's not actually a "draw" because there are loads of considerations in play. The random element is quite a small part once all the conditions go into the fixture computer. Making their last game an "uncontroversial" opponent is not unreasonable request. Exactly the same thing happened 20 years ago at Man City when we did them one nil in their final match at Maine Road.
-
Obviously I already know who we've got first game. Let's just say it's an "interesting" opponent and leave it at that.

Russell Martin masterclass from England so far.

Happy Days.

I didn't make any comment about "your mental state" for laughs or emojis or anything. So fuck knows what you're on about. Personally I think Southampton Football Club are more than capable of building a squad that stays up this season without wasting salary on 36 year olds.

I find this stuff infinitely more deranged than people moaning about how he acted the twat when he left us. Adam Lallana is not some footballing megastar with a mystical aura. Just an aging journeyman on his next pay day after an incredibly nondescript stint at his last club.

Feel free to point to one poster who thinks he's going to play any more than "not much". There isn't anyone. That's the reality. But I do agree with your general point though - the people who think this is a great idea are indeed stuck in 2014.
-
I think that is exactly the reality under discussion here. Even the most enthusiastic pant-creamers don't think he's going to play much.

A little bit revisionist I think. Walcott joined us for the season we easily avoided relegation and we got to Wembley in the FA Cup semi. It wasn’t that torrid and it was not a club "in terminal decline" at the point of his signing. We'd finished 11th the season before. The season we are going into is a far more certain relegation battle than the season Theo re-joined us. Far more.

They're getting six here minimum the way this is going.
