  1. I know for a fact Carlisle have never played in a cup final like this before.
  2. You must have missed the cult of Cortese turning on Matthew Le Tissier who on here was compared to a supermarket employee who was paid for his work at the time. A similar situation at our club you'd find similar forum comments here.
  3. I apologise for that last post. I was drunk somewhere and don't know what I was doing and honestly can't even remember posting it.
  4. Welcome back Charlie.
  5. Fulham look like they could be going top of the league. Top of the league. TOP OF THE LEAGUE. Going to give them so much momentum. Top of the league.
  6. Adkins changed tactics from Pards, Poch changed tactics from Adkins and Ron changed tactics from Poch but our new manager isn't allowed to change anything? melt me the fu ck up.
  7. You, me and thirty million odd people who couldn't give two shiny sh ites about "look how many people turned up at that rally in Hull/York/Liverpool". May is too cautious and will be too focused on running the country but if it was me I'd announce a snap election the day after leadership contest. They'd smash Corbyn into the dust.
  8. is the correct answer.
  9. https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/761319862698405888 Corbyn tracking heavily behind "don't know" as best Prime Minister. And still I read nutters on social media and The Guardian comments talking about JC's popularity/groundswell/movement/etc.
  10. Roberto Martinez is the new Belgian national team manager? Not entirely sure if it's not a twitter wind up.
  11. Seems unlikely that a potential signing, who in some quarters has been linked with a move to Manchester United, would be parading around the ground with our captain.
  12. Claude is working on an innovative 2-7-1 formation utilising a midfield pentagon protected by an additional deep lying midfielder and feeding an additional attacking midfielder.
  13. Them being drawn to play Reading's kids is funnier than them playing ours. Reading kids. It is pretty humiliating for for the towering giants of world football.
  14. I was under the impression that he was going to be our sole right-back. Heel do well in my opinion.
  15. It's been nothing short of a miracle. When we were run by the greatest football businessman the world had ever seen we were still tracking behind then-Championship Watford in the commercial revenue stakes so I could only conclude that was the best we could ever do, especially as we were employing the only technique that can ever succeed in business of generally being a total pig-headed pri ck to any stakeholders or potential partners. The fact we are now smashing that number and leaving Watford behind means I can only conclude it's just all a lucky flukey fluke from people who will get found out eventually.
  16. Bonjour, Monsieur La Telfer.
  17. It will be a sorry state of affairs if one of the three keepers called up to the England world cup squad is a back up keeper for a middle sized Prem club.
  18. Also, the uncharted territory of Thursday - Sunday plus the extra games and distraction of the EL is going to be a huge factor. If that knocks us back a place or two then I wouldn't be surprised. We'll be competitive come September 1st and we will compete on all (most) fronts, we'll probably give the League Cup the swerve this season. There's plenty to be excited about.
  19. I thought they'd do it last season to be fair. Genuinely they are too big to be down there forever and quite frankly it's already a disgrace (for them) that they still haven't done it. But we all dream of them completing half a decade in the bottom tier so come on Cooky, get some fry-ups down them.
  20. We've now got the best goalkeeping options in the whole league to go alongside the best midfield options in the whole league.
  21. It's all up there with "why don't we do our business early" and "why didn't we just tie him down to a longer contract last year" and all the other assorted drivel that people seriously think have never occurred to anyone working at the club and that they've just come up with as an original thought.
  22. You're pretty special, I'll give you that. For all the players we've sold for the last, what, six years, in every report, from the official site to any journalist, and deals through multiple agents brokers and football clubs, for high fees and low fees, not once has any release clause been mentioned by anyone. Not once. Yeah, okay I need to do like proper evidence to convince you don't I and stuff and that. I'll repeat the question I asked, first: who "may" we have sold via a release clause? Whenever you're ready.
