  1. This can be easily explained by population size. America is well big.
  2. I'll be eating a low quality, slightly warm individual steak and onion pie at 3:37 this afternoon. It's what he would have wanted.
  3. I will try to write a eulogy later, but it will require a little concentration. Camp he was not, he enjoyed the crack. Off he go. Ring the changes is what the mods want to do. I will miss him. Mler.
  4. The final solution.
  5. Like most British people, Wes, I tend to carry six or seven knives on me at any one time, for all eventualities. I shove my hand in my coat pocket and it comes out like Wolverine.
  6. http://abc7news.com/news/machete-wielding-man-shot-at-new-orleans-airport/567316/ The entirely British phenomenon of nutcases with knives has finally, finally arrived in the US. Of course, the police shot him with the much less harmful "gun" thing.
  7. Your "America is superior and you're all no-nothing helpless subjects of a monach" attitude is much better. Especially as a English born person living in Canada. Must make you feel so wonderful.
  8. This forum will always find a home for complete idiocy. Astonishing work.

    Drink?

    Some people no-nothing about films.
  10. This thread has been waiting for a few days now for you to come on and be a pri ck. Thanks for not letting anyone down.

    England Squad

I definitely worked you out last summer as someone without a freaking clue. What a mess we're in.
  12. Not really, no. I am surprised FIFA's commercial partners haven't kicked off more. There will be a genuine economic impact in some sectors because of this. Retailers, and big brands in beer, crisps, chocolate and home entertainment do pretty well at Christmas anyway, the big football tournaments are a handy second Christmas every two years. Same is true of the pub trade. Genuinely this will balls up some business plans by effectively bundling everything up together. Will also impact commercial broadcasters as well, who will suffer a bit with Xmas ads/traditional football advertising crammed into the same time frame, leaving a bit of a barren summer. So lots of rich stakeholders (brands/broadcasters) impacted, I would have thought they would have objected more than they have.

    England Squad

LOL. So transparent. You only posted that entire squad just to get another dig in at Fraser Forster. Best defensive record in the top division really sticking in the old throat ain't it Crabby? What a mess we're in.
  14. From then on, those clubs get direct free kicks in the box wherever the offence was committed. The defensive wall all stood in the goalmouth. Brilliant.
  15. Lee managed Bolton in the same way Reed managed Charlton. Adkins will not become a coach at Saints.
  16. That's nice.
  17. Getting on people's nerves, yes. Hitting nerves with the "defend myself" argument for the 17th time on this thread? I'm saying no.
  18. I've been to both Wembley trips I was alive (or not a 1 year old) for and Cardiff. Frankly that last one for the JPT was such. a. draaaaag. I mean Wembley Way, again? Pur-lease. Bored now. Please god can we never do that again.
  19. 4 times in 100 years. Twice in more than 30 years. So bog standard.
  20. LOL. It's been, like, twice in 30 years. Talk about yawn.
  21. Not sure I understand your question. My second line about Coke I think already answers what I think you're asking me. Fat wodge of cash = we change away kit. Strategic friendly partnership with MLS team? They change their away kit.
  22. Well done on even bothering to type that.
  23. What a load of laughable tripe. If Coca Cola want to give us £20m over three seasons to promote their new Green Coke, fine. Change the away kit tomorrow. But some strategic partnership with a NASL should not see us changing our away kit. Them changing their kit, fine. Not the other way round. Much like the "them orientals love red they do so all them Chinese will support Saints if we have a red kit" horsesh it from a while back, what you are saying is just nonsense. Americans might start supporting us in huge numbers if we win stuff and get in the CL but mainly they'll support Man United, Chelsea and Barcelona. But of course we're picking up some NBC fans - we've been in the frigging top four all season, and clearly being a hipster/niche club to follow, much like we were last season too. Because American football fans will follow good teams. They're not the malleable saps you think they are. We finish top four and we'll gain fans, green kit or not.
  24. They've hardly needed to demand anything, she's repaying it. A mistake, simple. I'm not saying it isn't and neither is she. Hiwever, that rule is knee jerk don't-upset-the-Daily-Mail stuff. Straight out of their "let's watch every single second of BBC broadcast output from October 23rd onwards to find someone, anyone, anywhere not wearing a poppy" routine. Anyway, It's the people on twitter calling Sarah Champion "scum" for this I am fascinated by. Go them.
  25. Not really. The reports don't specify it but I would suggest it wasn't for her own front room and was used at a civic service where she would be representing the people of Rotherham, and not herself. I don't watch the cenotaph service every year and think "oh look at all those dignitaries who have popped off down the wreath shop and bought their own wreath with their own money, good on them".
