You're waiting a long time if you expect Les Reed to return your calls. We're on a downward curve and no mistake.

Box of frogs.

Hypothetically speaking, he was pi ss ed.

The low attendances were because we were bottom of the league and sh it. The Lowe thing gave people a lovely excuse though.

Two great steaming promotions lardy. Two delicious f uck ing promotions. Yum yum.

Either way, a great season built on the foundations laid by Nigel Adkins.

Batman's "everyone's a hypocrite" routine going well again, then. In other news, Saints and Spurs are different clubs with different expectations. Fancy that.

Nah, don't worry about it. We haven't got some magic formula really. Just a good strategy, very well executed. Don't think for a minute everything we do we've invented out of nowhere, we have accumulated ideas over time from other sources. Les is just sharing a bit of our vision, that's all. He's not going to tell people about the Staplewood blood doping room any time soon.

WHY DID WE STOP WASHING OUR OWN HOTEL BED LINEN FFS?

When are they making the Swansea one?

Saints Sign Filip Djuricic on loan from Benfica
CB Fry replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The only question mark for me is whether our manager can get him firing again. -
Possibly a reference to his unflappable playing style. Or, Jos has burnt a hole in Olly's settee.

Sounds like one of those players who would struggle in League 1 but would be brilliant in a league where you get loads more time and space on the ball, like the Premier League.

No we're not. Les and RK has said they want us to be the best team outside of the biggest spending teams. I'd say there are six of them, so 6th/7th is the "weight" we aspire to. In reality our "weight" is about top 14-8. Doesn't mean we aren't striving for fourth, of course we are, but it does mean we won't be pis sing money away chasing it. If it happens it will happen because of excellent execution of the plan. Like, hopefully, this season.

Ah okay. I suppose it can't make the whole thing any more lame than it already is. Go Nicola!

I agree but I am guessing it will be Salmond (standing for Westminster) rather than Sturgeon in the debates. Both are pointless participants but Sturgeon would be even more pointless. Not seen if that's been confirmed though.

Just a roundabout way for Skate fans to talk about how this division is beneath them, what with them being so massive and stuff. Their giganticness is holding them back and piling on the pressure on the current helpless players weighed down with the magnitude of playing for one of world football's bestest biggestest and most magnificentest clubs.

This. In that interview Lallana only said that if he spent the rest of his career at SFC he'd be happy. Doesn't actually mean that was the only scenario where he could be happy. Like, say, Jason Dodd, if no big moves materialised he would have happily stayed. He didn't handle his departure particularly well in the summer, but I think the spirit of that interview back then was perfectly genuine.

Yes. Doesn't mean the draw would have turned out the same of course. Butterfly's wings and all that.

BBC person was asked this the other day and said it was because of a different political landscape in Norn Iron - ie those parties tend to compete directly with each other rather than against the Tories or Labour. That's the reason given, not my view. My view is the seven party debates will be a total dogs dinner. Mission accomplished David Cameron.

If you're going to attempt to pick me up over something I've written on here, at least get the quote right.

Waddock would be an annoyingly good appointment. Perfectly capable of taking them into the play offs next season, you'd think.

New Adam Curtis documentary on BBC iPlayer right now. If you have two hours to spare, strap in. A dead body and a clip of the Afghan version of the 'Thick Of It' ten minutes in. American soldiers gloating about killing Afghanis. And trippy as f uck.
