  1. People on the Internet who are obsessed with conspiracy theories are definitely not mental. Definitely not.
  2. Delighted to hear we have a plan to generate commercial income to overtake the likes of Watford. Our previous brilliant businessman leader I know had dreams and ambition to achieve this but it turned out to be beyond his abilities. Well done Gareth and the management team.
  3. Plenty of sensible fans never had any doubt that we weren't asset stripping. It's not hindsight whatsoever. It was just lack of foresight by fu cking idiots.
  4. So you accept the board made a "choice", then, and not just stumbled upon Ronald Koeman through some random quirk of fate, like when you see an old school friend in a Supermarket car park? The club appointed an excellent manager from an expansive pool of in-work and out-of-work football managers from countries and leagues all over the world. With that in mind, shall we agree that "luck" played no more a significant role in this appointment than any other football appointment at any other club?
  5. Except the only person twisting stuff is you. "Lucky he was available" is a meaningless "twist" by you on the appointment of our new manager by the club. How was Koeman's appointment demonstrably more "lucky" than the appointment of any other manager by any other club in the history of football? I've asked you to answer that before but you didn't and I am sure you won't this time. You deride it as lucky because you don't want to give any credit our current regime.
  6. Don't cry for us Pochettino The truth is we never loved you We've got a new man Ronald Koeman Ronald Koeman, Ronald Koeman Easy.
  7. I prefer Crab Lungs more thorough analysis of the mess we are in. I mean, Lallana never got his phone calls returned or nuffink. Interesting no mention that a few plebs moaning on an Internet forum was the real reason Morgan wasn't sold. Clearly an oversight by the clueless journalist. Lastly, I think it has been agreed by the forum brains trust that Koeman was just a lucky punt by dopey old Les Reed. Pure lucky luck luck. Disappointed this article doesn't acknowledge this when OldNick has told us all that this is indeed the case.
  8. Fans of all clubs go "he has an agenda against us" apes hit now, based on him not being "bold" in his forecasts. How do you think the sensitive flowers on here would cope if Lawro started chucking 4-0 predictions about?
  9. It could have been so different.
  10. Those people are definitely working much harder than the rest of us now and much, much harder than their equivalents forty odd years ago. I find it both motivating and aspirational.
  11. Apparently he phone Les Reed a couple of times during the summer but Les didn't return his calls. So no wonder he wants to leave. "It could have been so different."
  12. and almost certainly untrue.
  13. Basically, he got his knob out.
  14. This. Would have been very happy if Poch had signed a new deal, and like you I am currently worshipping Koeman, and also never really warmed to Poch at all. Just can't deny his record though.
  15. Put a monkey in a child's costume? What good would that do?
  16. Think it is possibly a wind up by Danny Baker. Clue: he's just said Talking Heads are the headline act.
  17. Didn't Man U fans start it as a Carrick chant? Most new songs do tend to come out of Manchester.

    MOTD

Apparently first in the running order for MOTD 2 tonight. Typical media pro-WBA agenda.

    Koeman article

    Simply brilliant. Adore the man.
  20. That article clearly not referencing the centenary kit, calm down. Obviously a reference to the all red abortions Cortese foisted on us in the Premier League. Still, the experts on the forum said we had to make a choice between "precious stripes" and success on the pitch because apparently the two were linked, not least because of the "scientific proof" that plain was better, and of course the millions and millions of fans in "the far east" who became instant Saints fans when we started to wear plain red. Them experts knew what they were talking about, and no mistake.
  21. Well, we'll still be 8th or so if we lose, which is perfectly good for me.
  22. I think we're all missing the bigger issue here. Some of Adam Lallana's phone calls were not, I repeat not, returned. Scum.
  23. It only gets more and more funny every time you post this stuff. Don't ever stop, will you?
  24. As last time, Derby away.
  25. Indeed. Just a little joke this morning before I nip off to the stables and then to London to present a new lifestyle and sports magazine show for BBC1.
