LOL. Just accept you made a mistake.

They say Jack Wilshire is underrated every single week.

Fair enough. I'm not the expert but what is happening now isn't actually an appeal, and wouldn't result in the conviction being overturned, I think it just means the case is heard again back in court.

Sunday and Monday night. Slightly odd selection. They should have put the Wimbledon match on Saturday teatime.

What crosses are Sky currently showing every week?

Thanks for the link. Despite some ropey production and a slightly wonky flow to it I thought it was a nice watch, clearly tailored for a newcomer. The heart of the story is an exceptional organisation deploying the right strategy in the right way. The pathway, the player development, is truly fantastic and seems to be able to transend any individual, which is the sign of a really strong culture. And the facilities look astonishing again. Les Reed's role slightly over egged for the sake of the NBC narrative but nice to hear him, and as usual he spoke well. But poor old Ralph, who I desperately want to like, still struggles to sling a decent sentence together on camera. All in all, it was lovely.

No you haven't.

You keep that solitary joke going throughout 2015, won't you. So funny. So very, very funny.

....this guy. Still scant evidence of him being a real professor.

He's not pretending to be a know all. The BBC pay him to make predictions each week for Five Live, Football Focus and the website. And the only people who put any "store" in his predictions are the effing loons that over analyse them and then get jolly upset. Which brings us to...

The only man who can put the letters W, L, D next to a list of fixtures on a prediction thread and then pretends he never made predictions and those predictions he made on that prediction thread weren't predictions they were "hypothetical results".

That victory has given me the energy to keep on keeping on throughout 2014. Thanks to all the unspeakable cu nts who took the time to vote for me. Also nice to see a couple of categories where the only person voting for me was me.

I gave a perfectly fair assessment of his performance at Sheffield United, when he was awful. Stand by that all day long. Let's remember which one of predicted we would achieve only 9 points from our last 10 matches, including defeat after defeat after defeat, and which one of us said that was "the level required for 5th/6th". Effing relegation form. You want to dig up my posts let's talk about the utter fuc king horsesh it you come out with.

I think everyone on this thread us aware of the culture of guns/gun ownership/right to bear arms etc in the US. It's not really an additional or different factor, it's just a key driver of widespread gun ownership, which is, by far, the main contributory factor of widespread gun deaths. And interesting that the original case at the start of the thread you glibly dismiss as "well, that kind of thing happens in the UK too" but at the same time want to claim "racial tension" as a unique and exclusive factor to the States that other nations don't have. Anyway, you seem to have toned down your position from earlier in the thread so probably worth calling it a day.

Raul Moat is not a two year old in Asda killing his mother. There are plenty of Raul Moats on the US. Far more, per head, than here. Your search for why reads more like a rag bag of excuses, especially when you start blaming slavery. The simple equation of fewer guns= fewer gun deaths is the biggest, clearest WHY of the lot but you are contorting arguments to desperately avoid facing into that fact.

This half season, we played the maximum number of League Cup games, with strong sides in all rounds and it impacted our league campaign so negatively that we are merely two points clear in fourth. So that's one myth killed stone dead. Now, for a cup competition played primarily at the weekend we are excellently place to freaking well go for it. And we should. Full house, tough but beatable opposition to start us on our journey of making a bit of history in 2015. So a similar team to today, with Morgan back (cup tie him, just to make sure...). I'd start with Long - feels like his kind of game.

THEY CANNOT WAIT FOR US TO FAIL.

You want a one dimensional view, how about this pearler at the beginning of this thread. Can you finally tell us all when "something like that" last happened here in the UK?

Canada's got a Bigfoot wandering about. That's going to focus the mind. No fu ck er is wasting Canadian bullets on shooting their fellow man. A Bigfoot FFS.

So now its slavery to blame for the fairly regular shootings in US schools by loons? It's slavery that explains the higher number of gunshot deaths in the US vs the UK? Slavery. Okay then. There are far more guns and far far more deaths from people being shot in the US than there is in the UK. The statistics are not an "argument" they are just facts. More guns, and availability of guns is a f uck of a bigger factor than slavery. The chances of being shot dead in the UK is miniscule compared to the US. The fact you can't even accept that without desperately scrabbling around for factors (population! slavery!) shows how pathetically small minded you are. Accept facts.
-
Are you saying there aren't more deaths caused by "shootings" in the USA compared to the UK? What isn't helpful is your avoidance of simple facts and unarguable statistics and getting yourself bogged down by persevering with this charade that it is as easy to get hold of a gun in the UK as it is in the US. I wouldn't chuck round accusations of small-mindedness when you are so keen to avoid anything that resembles reality.
