He was but I think the loan deal was done very late on deadline day. ie he became a Saints player on transfer deadline day. Quite late as well.
  2. He's no Calum Chambers, though, is he?
  3. Pretty sure I said announce it when the contract was signed, didn't I? So eff knows what you two are blathering about.
  4. I really hope we break the habit of a lifetime (well, five years) tomorrow and announce signings when they are done instead of spending seven hours prepping interview copy and swish photos. "SFC delighted to announce signing of X on a X year contract for an undisclosed fee. More details to follow". Not difficult is it? Man U announced just the fee agreement with Blind, hasn't even done his freaking medical. Just a small point, though.
  5. Half an hour ago he posted a story on Goal.com that he's signed for Newcastle. So possibly a click-baiting *****. Or true. Who knows...
  6. I think we need your definition of great if you are saying Diego Maradon isn't a great player and Alex Ferguson isn't a great manager.

Wasn't Hooiveld on deadline day, three years ago? (I take your point. It's not many or often)
  8. Looks like we may have our winger now. Thanks Andros and Poch, but no thanks.
  9. It's Lime Wood.
  10. Has he been spotted at Lime Wood yet?
  11. Quite. Ready for the first team quality. Basically, not Mayuka.
  12. Random nobodies (at time of writing). Swanson from Sky obviously better.
  13. Just on twitter now....but which came first?
  14. Sounds like a great signing.
  15. The main issue is, as he has done again today, is to make out his knee jerk zero perspective nougat - fuelled rants were right at the time and subsequent developments (getting promoted from L1, and the NPC, not getting relegated under Pochettino, not employing a Steve Wigley level manager to replace him, Bertrand being not "a load of crap") were utterly impossible to foresee and only make sense in hindsight. He gets through a lot of cocoa mass, and as a result smashes an eff of a lot of brainless tripe into his keyboard. God love him.
  16. He pretends he has children when he gets caught out being gutted that England concede a goal in a game he a) claims he wasn't watching and b) claims he wanted us to lose.
  17. I haven't searched for anything Alpine. Just memory of the drivel you type. It's nice when others dig out the utter tripe you post though.
  18. So, you were comparing Koeman to a generic, fictional poor man-manager. Even though no one on the thread had called Koeman's man management into question anyway. Great insight then. And you call me patronising.
  19. Who was the ***** who doesn't know what he's doing then? Just for clarity.
  20. I don't think there are rumours of an option to buy. There is an option to buy and it is widely reported.
  21. Nah. He's "a load of crap on loan" according to the forum expert.
  22. Of course you don't. It's all easy in hindsight isn't it. Except for those of us who aren't fat fingered rage merchants typing out uninformed reactionary bile in between king sized Mars bars. Some of us can read situations with foresight. PS. What a surprise someone found a post from you slagging off the signing of Bertrand. It's all too easy, Alpine.
  23. Was that the "forum expert" who said we would only employ a "Steve Wigley standard" manager and only sign "Rudi Skacel quality" players? That forum expert? Remind me who that was again, chubby.
  24. Anyone who describes a manager with as fine a record as Mark Hughes as "a ***** who doesn't know what he's doing" deserves to be patronised. Sorry.
  25. Probably. If it's good enough for Alex Ferguson and Christiano Ronaldo then I think we should honour that without dins on here getting all upset. He doesn't owe us anything, that's for sure.
