  1. The main times people quote our league position is when utter helmets start grizzling like Saints have never lost a few games before, and we have a few utter *****s talking about Koeman's position. And, it seems to upset you, but we are fifth, which is great, as would sixth, or seventh be great. Even eighth is good. I recommend you get used to it, because that's where we were always headed.

I thought he was particularly poor last night, although in fairness he did have pretty much our only real chance on goal. Sorry to say that liability is the right word to describe him, especially when he is lunging in at people like like loon. Isgrove looked bright yesterday - not outstanding, and in comparison to an appalling team performance - and might be worth a run in the absence of anyone else.
  3. Isn't fifth in the league, like, pretty good? If you expected us to be second or third in the table come Christmas week then that's your problem, not anyone else's.
  4. This.
  5. Like we did last season under Cortese you mean?
  6. We were dreadful today, truly awful, but I know that Koeman will be fuming and I know we gave the cup a decent crack. Sheff Utd deserved it, well done to them.
  7. I've been saying all season he needs three or four more top, top quality players.
  8. A rare occasion when I agree with Pap. Having a pop at RB for not standing in the general election is a pretty cheap, facile, point. He can far more effectively give his opinion, mobilise supporters, and provide a platform for other voices without pis sing about trying to become the MP for some left leaning London borough, a role he would be utterly unsuited for.

Where would be in the league if we had a manager who was, like, really good at "personnel selection"?
  10. I can. He'll take Wigan up.
  11. Tough gig there all in all. Still a Saints legend and a great manager for us. But maybe not the New Alex Ferguson/Greatest Ever Young English Manager some giddy souls on here had him down as.
  12. Some of us would rather win the cup than finish 6th anyway, so personally my view would be the same in either situation.
  13. Christ almighty.
  14. For the love of god.
  15. Box. Of. Frogs.
  16. Losing faith with who or what?
  17. Balls.
  18. I will never get to your expert level of "theorising" like "see that woman who tried to help the dead Lee Rigby? Reckon she's, like, an actor paid by the UK government". Or theories like your hero Richard D Hall saying the entire 7/7 atrocity was faked and it is libel to say they aren't? Dem theories? Don't try and talk down to me you pig - sh it thick cretin.
  19. It would work exactly the same as Monday games.
  20. And the "party based national broadcaster" seemed to have run another report on it on their flagship ten o'clock news, again discussing what the Labour government of the day knew/covered up. But still, it weren't on the amoured vehicle of Question Time so the entire BBC are trying to cover it up or something.
  21. The "party based national broadcaster" definitely not covering the CIA story on prime time BBC1 right now on one of their most popular entertainment shows. Don't want to embarrass the previous Labour prime minister who they definitely didn't mention or mock. What a whitewash.
  22. That is astonishing. Well done Merse, well done.
  23. Obvious TV game as soon as the balls came out. Arse/Hull is a repeat of the final but beyond that not a particularly interesting fixture.
  24. Quite. No chance our board would even think twice.
