And he even had the chance to put it right by keeping Pearson on and blew it. Doesn't mean that lots of the things he did do - academy, stadium, appointing some good managers, prudence, some great players and, ohhh, catering to die for - don't deserve recognition. He did lots of good. Cortese has always been Lowe with cash and I think will follow a similar career trajectory with Saints but that's another story.

Why not say, say, fifty thousand more? Or, say, seventy thousand? Or, say, ten thousand. Or, say, every single human being south of the M4?
