From a business leader in an industry in the public eye it is hitting out. Quite rare for any chief exec to use phrases like that on the record. Yes. The club are happy to churn out inane tweets about "the media team have arrived in x" or pointless ball by ball tweets from friendly games but can't bring themselves to tweet "delighted to announce x has signed on an x year deal.
