Also I am very surprised with the amount of people that have Saints in the top 6. As there are a lot of people down after the latest run of results. I was expecting more doom and gloom, but feel more positive now, myself.

As we head towards Christmas I thought it would be interesting to see what people think the top 6 will be. If Saints, Liverpool and Spurs are not in the top 6 where you think we will finish? Also who you think will fill the bottom 4 places, only made it 4 to see who you think would just miss out. Here are mine. 1) Man City 2) Chelsea 3) Man U 4) Arsenal 5) Everton 6) Southampton 7) Liverpool 9) Spurs 17) Villa 18 QPR 19) Leicester 20) Burnley Sit back and see how wrong I get this!

I think Everton will come good, with West Ham and Newcastle dropping away.

Villa are shocking! There is so much rubbish out there, but we are on for a top 6 place. Imagine ending above Liverpool or Spurs only to miss out on 6th place to West Ham! Gutting to say the least.

Spurs draw (home to Sunderland), arsenal lose, Liverpool draw (home to Palace), Man U to lose on Monday... Good weekend again.

My confidence has gone up after the teams have been announced. We look the stronger team and they have a few flair players out!

Also I would prefer to beat Arsenal away and Man U at home, just to shut the press up!

I agree, I thought we would beat Villa though. But the loss to Man City and cannot see us getting anything tonight, means that Man U is a big game. I fear 1 point from 4 going which means going into Burnley the highest we will be is 4th and only a couple of points from 7th! So beating Burnley is a must, then an Everton at St Mary's. 6 points from these 2 and a cup win and things will look bright again. Of course a win tonight and Monday, I would be as happy as a pig in ****!

Building on this, I believe we need to end above one of Chelsea, Man City, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs and we will finish in the top 6. I think we will lose our next 2 games and will drop to 4th before beating Burnley. I think we will get to the league cup final and fish 5th. Man U, Man City and Arsenal are coming good and so will Spurs and Liverpool. I think out of all of these teams Liverpool will fail to make top 6.

This is not true at all. If we only lose to Man City, Chelsea, home and away and Arsenal, Man U, liverpool and Spurs away, but win most of our other games, we will end in the top 6. The likelihood is that it will be a mixed bag!
