He's excellent against the ball, which is a big deal for us I think.

I think KWP is one of our top players but Tino is undroppable imo. Been our best player this season alongside Salisu and JWP imo. It's a shame to drop KWP but right now I can't see where he fits, I prefer Perraud at LB too as a natural left footer as our team lacks those a bit.
-
I think Tella is seen as more of a forward and has tumbled down the pecking order a bit with Broja and Armstrong both looking strong. Strongest team with all fit will likely be: McCarthy Livramento Stephens Salisu Perraud JWP Romeu S. Armstrong Elyounoussi/Djenepo Adams A. Armstrong In my opinion. Broja is a great supersub, Redmond is not as good as Djenepo and Djenepo offers more with his ability to beat a man.
-
Would like to see him and Armstrong play together and Djenepo dropped personally.
-
Not super hopeful tbh, seems like a massive cheap out, then again if anyone can get him firing it's Ralph. Excellent manager for improving players.
-
Wonder if this accelerates Lyanco along too. Lets see if he plays tomorrow and, if so, how he does.
-
Disagree, I think Armstrong is great, just still getting settled.
-
We are better than every team on that list save Chelsea. Villa look crap without Grealish (a win against a severely weakened Everton against the run of play not withstanding), Leeds look no where near as good this season either. I expect atleast 14 points from the next seven games tbh

Forster, KWP Lyanco Bednarek Perraud, JWP Diallo, Elyounoussi Redmond, Armstrong Broja Bit of rotation but some players (Elyounoussi, Perraud, Armstrong) could do with more gametime imo.
-
He's said that before iirc

https://streamja.com/rdeL2 One goalkeeper we were linked with in the summer. Can't see him getting many chances after this blunder!
-
Same strategy as united, try to hit them hard in the first half and get something with a 4222 and then sure up in the second half with a 352.
-
For defenders he has: 8th most aerial duels won in the league 15th most tackles won (Stephens is 11th) 6th most interceptions in the league 5th most recoveries in the league 6th most clearances in the league 6th most blocks in the league He is having a truly exceptional start to the season, he'll be being noticed now, need that contract asap.
-
Credit where due, as I'm normally quite negative about him, but Maccas ability to claim crosses came in very handy today. Broja looked superb, would have liked to see him up top with Armstrong but after Armstrong went down injured he seemed more sluggish so probably right to sub him. Annoyed Adams didn't get a go, especially since Redmond was poor and Elyounoussi could have easily dropped deeper. Draw probably a fair result but we could easily have nicked it, especially if the ref has have played an advantage at the end.

I guess, worth noting West Ham have much better players than us though.
-
Nah this is true. Ralph has always liked to go hard on the prep though, some suggested this is why we struggled last season when we had limited time between games. Not all managers are like this, some just play how they play and don't majorly adapt to the opposition. No real right or wrong way to do it to be honest.
-
It's less recovery and more Ralph hasn't had a chance to prepare them for the game and the specific strengths and weaknesses of West Ham I imagine.
-
I have his chances created last season as 60, which is best of all our players in our team and 11th best in the league. Also best of any central midfielder except KdB, Bruno, Gross and Mount (depending on CM definition). Different stat websites have different definitions of chances created though. Progressive passes he is best in our team by a mile and 19th best in the league Again though, different websites/different metrics. These aren't normalised for minutes otherwise the top players have all played barely any minutes, you can filter by minimum minutes played but I haven't as it's a pain to do!
-
Edouard has done really well there. I wasn't sure how he would do but he finds space really well.
-
Makes sense, our internationals not starting as they haven't had time to prep properly. Ely and Livra not withstanding, but they have been on fire recently so not really droppable.
-
At one point in the summer I remember him saying "If we had an owner who could spend money we might buy a £50m centerback, but we don't" or something like that, so I'm guessing a better option at CB than Lyanco.
-
He lead our team last season for both progressive passes and chance creation from (aside from the strikers) and was pretty highly ranked in the league too. I think confirmation bias may be at play a bit here, given every player will pass sidewards and backwards quite often but people look out for them from prowsey

I like this one. Similar to mine but with Broja in for Livramento up top, Livra back at RB and KWP at LB. Probably a safer bet than mine tbh.
-
Makes you wonder why they care. Absolute worse case scenario it does nothing for or to them and they can just ignore it like they likely do most of the saints tweets.
