  1. He will keep dropping the lead.
  2. Come and support me today,it will be a better game than the skates. Lordswood vets v horns vets Sherfield English 2pm Just ask for golden boot :-)
  3. I would be lying.....but what the fook let's get him to no.1
  4. I can't decide if it is a good or bad thing.... I thought he looked sharp, fit and content this season and would have probably scored a few if given a chance.
  5. Can't say I'm upset tbh.....I suppose he realises that we aren't going anywhere fast so it's best for his career that he moves on,I can't blame him but I am not bothered,he hasn't really done anything here of note.
  6. I've had a banning order and it's not without surprise tbh.
  7. Another post about 'how lucky we are to have a club to support' and another dig at the fans......surprise sur fookin prise. The problem with us fans is that we have a had sh1t time for the last few years and it seems (even if things have changed) that the world is still against us. I think we have all accepted that it isn't going to change overnight but the progress is agonisingly slow and we need something to feel positive about, which at the moment isn't happening. There are now a lot of fans who chose not to attend last season and didn't have to put up with the sh1t I and many others had to endure,so please forgive us for not being over positive about this season.
  8. I think a few of you need to cast your minds back a couple of months and remember how bad you felt when things looked dark for us,I don't wish that sh1te on anyone on the genuine Pompey fans as they are just like me or you,the only difference being that their sister is their mother, they live in a cesspit, they don't need Viagra when fishing and John Westwood is the height of fashion.
  9. Doesn't sound like any of the players bothered to listen to the first couple of sentences.
  10. Just heard the west ham v millwall game has been halted because of crowd trouble......makes our little scuffle in northam road look silly:-)
  11. 11700 including 641 Birmingham fans Not bad I suppose.
  12. I have a Matty one in a saints shirt and one in an England kit still in the packet,I keep meaning to get them signed but havnt got round to it yet. Sorry I don't want to sell them.
  13. Why can't we do both? Throw lorry loads of cash to get us put of this sh1t league, this will not be an expensive thing to do in comparison to getting from the ccc to the prem and then steady the ship, laying foundations etc etc. I say it's worth the gamble spending big this year to get out of this league,it's probably a bit late now but that's what I would have done I'd it was my club. I think that if ML had shown intent to get us into the ccc this season by spending big then it would have put another 5k on the gate.
  14. LOL,is this a joke:-)? Ball boys touching each other,I might suggest that to the club......it will be an amusing distraction from the crap footie.
  15. Come in and introduce yourself and there maybe a free mix up in it.....but I would also like to see your scientific findings on the road surface :-)
  16. More excuses for being complete sh1t IMO,all of this 'give it time' bollix is getting on my fookin tits. Other teams seem to do things a lot quicker than us and they manage to gel a lot quicker so why can't we? Our problems at Swindon had nothing to do with pardew having a look at players (isn't that what training is for??) but more to do with a stubborn manager trying to prove a point to the holders of the purse IMO.
  17. There was a little scuffle outside my shop in northam road, just up from the king Alfred, nothing too serious and it was over as quickly as it started. An ambulance did arrive but I'm not so sure it was anything to do with football,I think it might have been one of the local winos falling over or something.?
  18. But large clubs attract by their nature attract more fans, more paying customers if you like, thus generating more income to spend on better players that will make the club more succesful which will attract more fans and more income etc etc. I'm afraid bus driving doesn't thrill the motor racing public as much as formula 1,now I'm sure that jenson button is capable of driving a bus but f1 is slightly better paid. By the way Manu fans expect to win every game and they usually get close to that, they support a very big club.I on the other hand will be content with just watching a decent game, something which I havnt seen for a long time.if the players on the pitch have given it their all then win, lose or draw I will walk away happy,I may not be happy with the result but at least I know there is some hope that things are looking up.
  19. For only the second time yesterday I sat in the chapel with my son (usually kingsland north) and I have to say the brentford following sounded good. From where I was sat the northam seemed a bit subdued, the itchen north gave it a go but because of the stupid sanctions imposed on the itchen we are no longer able to hit the away fans from both sides and drown them out,I think this gives the away team a boost and does us no favours at all......it's time to once again open the itchen corner. Mind you I did have a nice snooze in the library (chapel):-)
  20. Even without the -10 we would be in the relegation zone,2 points from 12 is rubbish in anybodys book. Ok I thought the millwall game was a fair result,Swindon could have been avoided and I would of expected at least 1 point if not 3 and I was expecting 3 points yesterday but as it turned out we were lucky to get the draw, the only player yesterday who had any fight in him was saga, and he's probably off,Harding did well and was my motm but the rest.....not good enough. This is not unrealistic expectation,it might be a bit of a moan :-) but I think it's a fair assesment. The players we have are all capable of winning games, but most are reluctant to get hurt.....we will be seen as pushovers by the rest of the league, easily bullied into submission. The -10 is a big stumbling block but the biggest stumbling block to overcome is the players, they have to learn how to beat themselves before they can beat the opposition .
  21. I'm talking about our premiership days when the rot started, the reluctance to spend to compete and ignore signing players that came with high wages.......the problem with this is that if you want the best players you have to pay good money. To this day Rory delap remains our costliest player at £4m.....says it all really.
  22. How is it clueless? Just because I would prefer strachan over pardew....no contest really. Are you saying that if it was a straight contest between the 2 then you would pick pardew? That's fine by the way as it is your choice, but I would choose strachan as that is my preference. For the record I am as much behind pardew as the next man but IMO he will not last his contract. Just like every other manager,I will criticize them if I don't think they are doing a good enough job but I will also praise them if I think they are doing ok......it's called freedom of speech and opinion.
  23. So he talks a good game.
  24. I would love him to come back as manager,I'd be happy to open the exit door for pardew.
