Clearly, any implication that she's a bad mother are in jest, as I have no idea. Either way, she's a beast.

Every time something media-worthy happens, and the family etc are brought into play, it seems that a window is opened on the real England. Away from the sanitised veneer of the media, either we are a country with a massive population of uggers and inbreds, or other conclusions must be formed.. Maybe it's this "underclass" we hear about. Consider those inbreds who kidnapped their own relation and put her in a bed, Shannon Matthews. Did you see them? Perhaps it was a one off..? No. Clearly I'm glad that girl Laura Stainforth was found all well and good, but have you SEEN her "mother"? This "woman" looks like a particularly unfortunate cross between John Prescott, Bernard Manning and Jabba the Hut. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/humber/7842451.stm

Used to watch this too, great show, by all accounts a lovely chap. RIP. Quite interested to know what he would have been like in the war, seemed a very gentle fellow. Served as an officer with the Gurkhas.

It's a good place. Can get packed, but there are **** loads of fit women, and there's miles upon miles of great beaches and surf further north without such crowding. Quite a fun night out, Biarritz itself can be a bit over commercial at peak seasons but it's worth the visit.

I'm there if it's on, plus a maybe...? -
Can I suggest you just stop bickering and keep tthis thread on MAG? Seriously, it would be a good idea to start a MS or Sony thread or whatever, and any casual observations you have on them could go there. it would just make sense to keep game threads about that game, and nothing else. I'm sure you and others mean no harm when mentioning these things on other threads, but other people join in and it just gets silly. It's not a 'witch hunt'; just a collective boredom that so many threads seem to end up as debates about that, which are generally repetitive and dull. I'm not blaiming you specifically or anyone else, just observing. Petty insults get thrown in ("Jack ass" etc) and it's stupid. No-one is saying that the debate is not valid - the sales thread is, in fact, exactly what everyone wants - because it would keep threads on topic and stop them becoming tedious arguments about something that most forum readers either have solidly formed opinions on or don't care about. I really have no interest on everyone's opinion on each console - and if I did, i'd start a thread on it, not look through threads on MAG or Metal Gear etc etc. I'd look at them if I was interested in the game.

Man after my own heart; good post. -
All Danny originally said was, entirely correctly, that this forum ALWAYS degenrates into pretty pointless rubbish with seeming microsoft vs sony fanboyism. If everyone is so interested, start a thread on it. Otherwise, all Danny wants, I believe, is for a game thread to stay ON TOPIC instead of veering off to the same old blurb, time and again. No-one has a problem with others having differing views. Most people are not being "cry baby's", as you put it. The only people being too serious are those who continually feel the need to slip in their alleged game industry credentials and then start loudly pontificating about their views on the game companies. Why not just keep these things broadly on topic?

Is all this stated as total fact? Either way, St George has a track record of misquoting things, selling things as fact that aren't, using crazy statistics, arguments from people who clearly have an agenda and are far from impartial, etc. If he presented a vaguely normal case, more people would listen. Yet all he comes out with is crazily vitriolic anti-left bile, stating his own views as the absolute truth etc as much as anyone else... "finally standing up to the arrogance of the Left" etc.. I mean, that's plain deluded. Most western governments are far from being truly left wing, for example, but conspiracy theory fascist man would have us believe the world is a leftist cabal. This is case in point. This source seems is a political one, and as such is unlikely to be unbiased. It's a senate report apparently, and we all know senate doesn't support the Kyoto agreement, and if you don't bother to factor in potential motivations for this aside from seeking the truth, you are as blinkered as anyone else. St George states all sorts of things that only tell a half truth, even though this is what he accuses all other who don't agree of doing. 650 scientists does not make the entire population of the science community, not does the term "international scientist" mean "the world's leading scientists" as he puts it, either. Some are academics etc. I'm sure all are respectable, but leading? No. I'm sure some are quite eminent, but as another point, some might well be said to have an agenda of their own, given who they work for - employers and roles include some that would seem likely to not want to be tied on fossil fuel usage etc, ie space agencies etc. Also, some of the quotes given are far from rampantly in support of St George, and are much more cautionary or just not in full agreement with global warming as a theory. St George has us believe that these people support his argument. Not so. here are some examples of people who are simply not buying into it, yet not rejecting it either: “I am a skeptic…Global warming has become a new religion.” - Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever. “So far, real measurements give no ground for concern about a catastrophic future warming.” - Scientist Dr. Jarl R. Ahlbeck, a chemical engineer at Abo Akademi University in Finland “Anyone who claims that the debate is over and the conclusions are firm has a fundamentally unscientific approach to one of the most momentous issues of our time.” - Solar physicist Dr. Pal Brekke, senior advisor to the Norwegian Space Centre in Oslo. “All those urging action to curb global warming need to take off the blinkers and give some thought to what we should do if we are facing global cooling instead.” - Geophysicist Dr. Phil Chapman, an astronautical engineer and former NASA astronaut. Not exactly conclusive rejection of global warming as a concept, is it? it's usual of St George to not bother to read what people say but instead attack everyone. I for one am not in any way entirely sold on global warming. I don't regard it to have been proven. I simply advocate finding the most clean, viable source of energy, and think general apathy in regard to pollution etc is retarded and short sighted. Renewable energy etc has as much benefit for national economies etc as for the world if global warming is right anyway. But will George still just call me a loony left and assume I'm automatically obsessed with global warming? Yes he will. Because he's a crazy idiot. Read his sources and think about it before you just believe his rhetoric, as it is usually highly flawed; often simply wrong, always overly emotive and sensationalist.

I've always wondered why people moan about players going off and playing for their clubs, even when the player could sit out for the benefit of injuries that would affect their club playing status. On the one hand we moan about national players not having pride, and then we expect them, in the same breath, to do the best thing for the club all the time, regardless of nation. I'd always leap at any chance to represent my country. In fact, I have had pain killing injections in a similar situation. It meant I had to face 2 months out afterwards, but on a trade-off, I'd do it again. It's the same with Delgado and the others. Screw the managers who moan about it. It's the usual ********. If they don't play 'meaningless' friendlies etc, they are a **** national side with no team awareness etc. if they do, managers have a pop.
