Never seen him play but I do know his ex bird. That is as much as I can contribute unfortunately.

1st half was poor, looked like a deserved rollocking was handed out a half time as we came straight out of the blocks in the second half and Ward Prowse missed a great chance about a minute in. Lallana did well for the first goal and another good delivery from Fox for the second. Bart's kicking was awful (short and long) Harding did very well at right back going forward Ward Prowse looked tidy on the ball, plenty of potential and took his goal well Doble doesn't offer enough for me (seen him 4 or 5 times now) Hoskins looked lively, small but stocky and got stuck in Cork was excellent out on the right Overall a good win, plenty of character and plenty of confidence gained going into Forest.

He let us down but it was only a matter of time before Lambo reacted like that to the **** he gets off centre halfs, especially Brighton and their ****ish 'tactics'.

Great thread! A couple that stand out for me: MK Dons at home - When Barnard went through on the keeper, it felt like the whole crowd just sucked the ball into the net with pure adrenaline. A few seconds later the net rippled and the noise was incredible. Orient away - Barnard's clincher and more great scenes. Such a tense afternoon and God only knows how they didn't equalise about 3 or 4 times. Looked and sounded like 3 quarters of the crowd were Saints fans, great day out. Ipswich away - The first half was the best 45 mins of football I've seen a Saints side play live. They couldn't get near us.

I'm a big fan of Hammond but yesterday proved Morgan must play central. He's wasted on the right flank.

Lambert. Lallana has been excellent but Rickie is out talisman.

Agreed, it was the worst refereeing performance I've ever seen (equally bad for both sides). I recall a Jaidi header being disallowed for a push even though there wasn't a Leeds player within 10 yards from him.
