At the game on Saturday the fans started off right behind the team but after 20 mins of mind numbing passionless football they understandably lost the will to live. 4 wins at home in the League in 13 months and you are still blaming the fans.

I agree it's not his fault we spunked up £19m for him. He seems a decent enough player but buying someone like him who they admitted would take time to settle was very poor management especially when we let someone go out on loan at the beginning of the season who would have done a better job.

My daughter got a train from Birmingham to Southampton at 6 last night and it got here on time. I reckon by tomorrow with the gradual thaw that has already started in Southampton this morning the major roads should be ok but beware the southbound Avenue is closed and there is a detour from the Chilworth roundabout down past the Crem into Swaythling and Portswood. There are significant delays as a result. Northbound is still open

If the game is called off it will be because the club hasn’t done enough to make sure it takes place. As Trousers has pointed out there is a thaw due and most roads should be driveable by noon tomorrow. I feel for those who have to come a long distance from the West but I guess you have to put a limit on how far away you take things into consideration. There’s been no snow this morning and the temperature is above freezing because the icicles are melting.

I think the game will go ahead as long as the club get their arse into gear like Arsenal did last evening there was no overnight snow in Southampton and the temperature is set to go above freezing today and improve tomorrow. The club needs this game to be played and should make every effort to ensure it happens
