  1. I'm hoping he has!!
  2. Good time to play them. They've not won in 10 and seem to perform better against top 6 teams. A few on the physio table too. They had us sussed at SMS so hopefully this will be a bit different if MP has learned anything at all. Cautiously optimistic for a narrow win with AM performing heroics in the last 5 minutes.
  3. Playing much better than the twitter melts would have you believe. Good goal too.
  4. I could do better than this c**t. I could do better than this c**t if i was part time and on the p i s s whilst in charge. And had Kylie Minogue as my assistant who i was giving it to during training. Still do better than this nob.
  5. This Manager is utter gash. Worst we've had for ages. Fkin useless.
  6. Err, in the same way as you want to protest against the manager, but just change the names. You could try that.
  7. The manager is poor, no doubt, but it's the owners who are to blame in my book. Leadership, drive and ambition comes from the top and there is no evidence of that. KL wants out and Gao hasn't a fookin scooby. Les and Ralph are no better than puppets and muppets. IMHO any direct protest needs to be aimed at the owners or their muppets. Support the manager and players, until they go 3-0 down and then they can get both barrels too! Hopefully we'll get something out of the game (*clutches straws*)
  8. Briefly watching a bit of Sky Sports this morning, you'd think the guy has never played in the PL and was signed from Barcelona, such is the sycophantic media driven ****** that surrounds Liverpool and everything about the club. One of the dozy morning presenters spoke of VVD "making his Premier League debut" (not Club debut, mind) on Sunday against Citeh and such is the fawning idolatry over the Scousers that suddenly his abilities are being reported as if he's some newly found messianic arrival to English football. I hope he drops a bollock of Lovren-esque proportions on Sunday and City spank the Scousers by three goals.
  9. Feels a bit rudderless at present. Very much like the signs around the Club when we went down in 2005. Think it is pretty likely now, if not this season, then next.
  10. Shame about the result. Respect to those who travelled. Good performance from everyone and Redmond nowhere near as bad as some on here make out. Looked at the Citeh forum and most are a graceless bunch of ****ers, banging on about "anti football" and time wasting. Or good defensive display away to league leaders as i prefer to call it. Used to think Citeh were alright, now they can **** off.
  11. Tadic anonymous 2nd half. Redmond diabolical. Forster is woeful. Lemina, Gabbiadini, Yoshida and Cedric only ones performing at the moment.
  12. Redmond offers absolutely nothing in any formation. Passenger in a poor team. Needs to be sold in January. Boufal needs to be given the time Redmond is.

Yes, John Morton was my tutor at Peter Symonds College. Not sure if he was a Saints fan though.
  14. He's a good player, no doubt, but imho, he is not effective enough in a midfield role as he seems to struggle to influence games. I think he'd be a much more effective attacking right back. He'd have less of the pitch to cover when working the channels and his delivery on crosses would be a bonus.
  15. How does that, in any way, dilute what happened at Hillsborough? How does that sit alongside ineptitude, lies, cover ups, perjury and death. Are you suggesting one gravely awful event dilutes the need for consideration of another?
  16. Don't be a ****.
  17. Go.
  18. I think so, providing he was alongside a more commanding CB like VVD. I'd also consider using him in midfield if we were ever short there, which i doubt we will be with current personnel. IIRC he's played in midfield for Japan before, but not sure if this is entirely accurate. But i think he's as good now as Fonte was last season, but not as good as Fonte was in his prime - yet.
  19. Comic Relief - Giving joyless ***** the opportunity to whinge about not being able to laugh every two years.
  20. Yeah, it wouldn't be on to tar a group of people with one big **** off brush would it?
  21. Please point me in the direction of anyone who is an "apologist" for the events of this week, who isn't already radicalised? Else, define what you mean by apologist?
  22. If by "apologist" you mean those that can see not every Muslim is a terrorist in the same way that not every Christian is a Klan supporter, then you really need to reappraise how you define. Incidentally, i can see nothing on the latter section of this thread that can sanely be interpreted as defining any poster as an apologist. So it's fair to say that you invent a situation in order that you can get upset about it which leads to some sort of self-satisfied sanctimony. My thoughts are with the dead and their relatives and friends. RIP

    TV Tax

Well, it kind of is. The BBC have been under increasing pressure to justify themselves and their expenditure, mainly by right wingers, who see themselves as disadvantaged by the purported left wing bias of the organisation. So the BBC outsource licence fee collection to one of the right wingers favourite Co's, Crapita, only for right wingers to now do an about turn and criticise Crapita because everyone who doesn't pay a licence fee is a poor, needy, vulnerable serf. Strange times indeed.

    TV Tax

I don't mind paying the licence fee. The BBC generally provides excellent quality over its TV, Radio and Web presence and it's refreshing to have content not constantly interrupted by advertising. The radio content, especially of R2, R3 & R4 is excellent and i'd hate the thought of losing that. Complete media coverage by self interested mega rich media barons would be a horrendous state of affairs. Having said that, i think they should be more accountable for their expenditure. Just a small example - the number of football pundits they must have on their books across TV and radio - seems far too great and they could cut excess wages here by being more select and getting them to do a proper days work!
  25. If we were to change Manager now, which we won't, we should be looking at someone for a short term fix who can raise some passion and fight in a group of players to battle for points to avoid relegation and who is used to doing this in English leagues. They're thin on the ground though, and the only one I can think of is Pardew, because he seems to have that immediate new manager effect before mediocrity well and truly sets in!!
