  1. To be fair, the team has a target of 40 points. When (if) they reach that, of course they'll down tools. Either that or they'll destroy Huddersfield on the last day 8-0 ... Saints are weird, always have been. Love them.
  2. I hope it was a proper whack and not any handbags crap. Who are these dickheads either passing tickets on or buying them for others that aren't Saints? Happens every year in every Man Utd/Liverpool match, but do people never f**king learn? "Hi I need a ticket for a mate, he can't go cos blah blah blah" C**ts.
  3. Absolutely. And anyone sticking up for Gallagher; sorry, but he's not a Premier League footballer. He's better than we all are at football, granted, but I think we've seen his level; which is lower than Saints are at.
  4. Agree that whoever comes up, will be sh*t.
  5. Earned it? Earned it how? You massive helmet.
  6. It will hopefully make them even more determined to make the next squad!
  7. Definite penalty. He made his body "larger" by using his arms, back turned or not, hand ball.
  8. To be honest, I have a moral issue with betting companies being plastered all over football shirts; it can be addictive for some and it can a real issue - I know people who lives were ruined by betting. But aside from that, betting sponsor logos always look cheap. Would love a retro sponsor like Draper Tools again, on a decent retro shirt - 80s.
  9. This season is another weird one. Personally I think this mob led by this manager will have just about enough to stay up THIS season. Next season, if this promised summer revamp doesn't happen with some decent money spent, we'll do down.
  10. Absolutely agree with this. I want to watch enjoyable football, with youngsters coming through, backed up by some older pros that still care - almost in the 80s/90s "Saints way". I don't want us to be spending over the odds and recruiting mercenaries, and I don't really care where we finish, as long as we regularly give the big teams a bloody nose, get the odd cup final and maybe win one. The odd European tour would be nice too As for Stephens, he made one mistake, but he has improved under the new manager. However at 25 he's old enough not to be youth and man up to his mistake and not do it again.
  11. You assume that Rodriguez wanted to stay at Saints.
  12. 0/10. You tiresome c*nt.
  13. Football, as we know, is broken.
  14. No, it's done, we'll stay up and have the cash in the summer to sort this out; hopefully there WILL be deals done early on ...
  15. I like him and he's a good player, but he isn't Morgan or Wanyama at their peaks for Saints.
  16. When Cedric plays, we surrender leads ....
  17. This guy is utter utter garbage, far too poor for top flight football in England. Dreadful.
  18. Agreed - so long as it's a bit more reigned in, he can be as assertive as he likes, giving someone the occasional whack won't hurt!
  19. I think the earliest we'll lose him is the summer of 2020. However, it really depends - I have a feeling he's a guy who will want to see how far he take a team. If in the summer of 2020, he feels there is more to come, then it may be longer ... we can but hope.
  20. Whilst I agree we shouldn't get carried away, to see the visible impact on the pitch of their harder work is brilliant. No longer second to every ball, no longer puffing away looking out of condition, no longer a team of individuals getting frustrated and getting cards, better tactics, meaningful substitutions, etc.
  21. Really??
