No - one of the most disappointing signings of our time. 99% of us were very excited and rightly so when we signed him, but apart from when we beat Villa 4-1 he's never really lived up to the promise - time to cut our losses.
-
This and this. Wouldn't worry about our attacking options if we had those 5, plus Gallagher and Seager ...

If the question were that heavily weighted towards a straight yes or no, then I'd have to change my opinion and vote no (no to park of the EU), despite actually just wanting a reform. A yes, will not necessarily give us a reform. I wouldn't want to vote no, but it would be the only way to get the message across in that situation. So I really hope this question, when it arrives, is very carefully thought out.

Exactly this, it's disgusting. Was sick in my mouth when I saw the bearded person from last year too.

Reform rather than leave. The original intent of the EU is still sound.

Any Reading fan I've ever met, knows nothing about football. Equally, I know plenty of S****horpe fans (family & friends who travel home and away with them) who are very knowledgable about football and they love Nigel too.

If Osvaldo comes with the right attitude, he can be the answer New York need to play up top with leading goalscorer, Bradley Wright-Phillips. Bradley Wright-Phillips?

Orange onesies I hope?

Another hit! The Pap tribute thread.

Serious business -
I was toying with which one to vote for, so in the end I voted for neither. Not surprised the result was so close for those two goals - both absolute quality for different reasons.

We just need to go out there and win. Not worry about other teams, but win. We go out there, bust a gut for one last time and win, then at least the team has done their bit and we'll see what happens. We can beat Man City if we're on form!

That was some ridiculously fast typing, well played!

Looking like it. (there's a nail in the coffin)

Echo story - 14 years since last League game at the Dell

Brilliant day - was stuck up in the upper west, but genuinely thought the roof would come off when Matt scored, amazing! Can't believe that was 14 years ago ... ! -
Targett & Ward-Prowse named in England U21 Euro squad
Patrick Bateman replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Bloody hell, that's a serious U21 squad, fair play!! Will be really interesting to watch their progress - I can see a core of these players forming a decent England team in the next few years, promising! -
This +1

I think part of the problem is they (the fans) would have been hounding Rodgers out of the club for signing a Chelsea reject in Bertrand. Now he's worth considerably more having returned to the England fold and put in a decent complete season, they are interested. Deluded mugs. I never used to mind Liverpool, was never fussed by them really, but they're really p*ssing me off now - although, mainly Rodgers to be fair.

I said that above, I believe both are good enough to be back up. I can see Turnbull going on loan again perhaps for half a season??

A win (or draw I think) will keep Sunderland safe - they'll be going for it all out you'd have thought.

Best thing I'd read for a while
