I don't think Clyne's a bad player but we (as a team) have got to cut out the silly mistakes which invite pressure... It's not as if Villa aren't hoofing out when they need to. Although Fox was a bit static it was what led up to that that counted, plus I don't think Ireland knew where his kick into the ground was going either. What an excellent summary. Going back to the question of key-boards - on my last visit to the UK I bought a spare one in Wilkinsons for £5 summat. You wouldn't want to work all day on it, perhaps, but fine for occasional posts on here..

A good summary. My team also lost 6-1 in our first match of the season, and I played the Fox role by tapping in from a metre. (This is still an improvement from my record last season..). We _were_ playing Juventus Ladies who had just come down from the league above and a no. 10 a class above, but we're not too downhearted as there are plenty of weaker teams about. Talking of which, did anyone see Norwich - WH: which was dire the bits I bothered to watch? Even in defeat I had the impression that we played more football than both of them combined.

I see Alpine is here. Wallowing in misery and predictable moans about how we should have strengthened our defence I'd imagine. Don't think I'll be back as I'm not sure I can remain polite. Interesting to see what Adkins does for 2nd half, but I won't be here to discuss it. We've been crap but the Arse movement has been good and it's our midfield for a change that hasn't protected the defence much, even it has needed strengthening. Anyway, might see you later.
