Brilliant. Thought I'd go away and de-stress by practising the flute. Might do some more in the second-half. Yeah, and less of the sexist rubbish please. I don't go around blaming officials' mistakes on the fact that they are men, and I see plenty of them.

Not sure about prising a top team's player away: firstly are Pompey a top team, won't their players soon be available cheaply and would we want any of them?

An afterthought: how many going to the Box.. :-) , the Exeter match on the 26th December? I'm going to have to hire a car on my visit home unless anybody is going from Maidenhead!? I reckon that could be a good crowd: traditional Christmas Dinner digestive match with turkey sarnies. Quite looking forward to it.

I don't think it's that bad. I live abroad but a lot of the friends I go with on my visits live some way away or are sometimes a bit skint. A midweek match, working day after, leading up to Christmas on a shirty night is the one that's going to get missed..
