  1. lol i can imagine him on his own waiting for us outside after the game! COME ON THEN... YOU WANTED IT!!
  2. Lttna 0-4 sfc
  3. Just got back from the game via corporate hospitality via the dentist. The two are not related. The game... well, after a few shakey minutes from the kick off we passed them and attacked them off the park. The final ball wasnt quite there, Ricky had a game which wasnt to his recent high standards, Connolly looked a threat every time he got the ball and was able to run at them. Kelvin looked a wee bit uneasy with some of the back passes, but other than the first two minutes he had little to do. Chaplow was my MOM he was immense. I had a WHU fan behind me and all I kept hearing was "fking hell its the bloody bald bloke again". Jos wasnt far behind him for my choice, cleared everything in the air, and looked pretty composed on the ball. The last 10 minutes seemed eternal. We were hanging on a little bit I felt. Thought Richardson was very lucky near the end when he completely missed the ball 5 yards insdide our own half. Got away with that. As for West Ham, hoof is all I can say. I can imagine they aint happy campers as thats not the way they play. Big Sam has his ways, and he has pedigree but whether he is their saviour is another matter. I thought Nolan was a real pain last night, forever chirping in the refs ear about the time we were taking over every dead ball. Right, so you've played in the Premier aint you? Right, its whats done, get on with it. What a whinger!! Mind you, he barely had a kick cos our midfield was so awesome. Met Doddsy and Gordon Watson after the game, as well as John Motson. It was a fantastic night out!! And I drunk a bit too much
  4. Will I need an overcoat? I'll have a suit jacket on. Dont want to get chilly
  5. ........ erm.... f'king speechless!
  6. World Cup 66... our best striker Jimmy Greaves, injured (i think) for the start of the tournament. If he wasnt it would have been unheard of to drop our, at the time, best striker. He is fit for the latter stages, we didnt use him, we won it., and OH MY GOD WE'RE GOING TO WIN TEH EUROZ 2012!!! In summary, Greaves could have enjoyed the finals a lot more if he was watching it from the comfort of his own home. Leave Spuddy here.
  7. You seen my top set Rickie?
  8. big lol so there ARE reasons then after all. Thats a rapid about turn, one a politician would be proud of!
  9. there can be many reasons why. its an evening game, people might not be able to get sitters for the kids, lots of people work nights or start at silly o clock ... Picking up my tickets for the Terry Paine suit on the evening smug grin... thank you to a supplier at work for the freebie!
  10. A small list Leyton Orient Reading Sheff Weds
  11. Leave the spud headed c*k at home. Might teach him a lesson, might make him think twice about his conduct in future. Good to see Al Ferguson didnt condemn his behavior. It was almost like "yep thats my boy"
  12. Look at the OP, that will lead you to your answer.
  13. that is a genuine lol ... not that i have anything against "our kelv" but he just isnt international standard, not by a long long way
  14. Steve Bull. Not the large uber fan from days of Prem, but Mr Wolves Steve Bull. He wasnt too disimilar in style our Rick, played many a time for England in the late 80's early 90's, did a good job too. But that was then this is now, and the answer is no dont think he'd be any good at all. Just not quick enough.
  15. Alomst doesnt look real, you see so much CGI in films and TV when something as amazing as this comes along its hard not to think "is it real"? Brilliant tho, awesome beautiful world we live in
  16. i have the same tv in my bedroom upstairs i assume where the gas fire is now is the chimney breast? Silly question but thought i'd ask. And yes to carry out any plumbing of that type will need a corgi registered engineer, I believe your household insurance would be valid of its not
  17. They are probably holding it wrong
  18. We played indoors once, no weather conditions affected the game. We lost 1-0 to Arsenal
  19. Checked blood pressure lately?
  20. agree 100%. Except for the last bit, as far as i know lawyers work all the hours necessary. escpecially in a massive case like this something is definately fishy about that woman...
  21. As we're doing well and want momentum, dislike them If we were doing poorly I'd welcome the break to take stock and get some quality training and or R&R in. As for England, I like watching them as a social event - i.e get together with the lads down the pub, but couldnt give a monkeys if they do well or not.
  22. Why do they always start our highlights with a sweep of the outside of the stadium? Do they do this for other teams? Have to say I'm a record the show watch Saints goals/game only type of man...
  23. Was thinking that very thing yesterday whilst watching those two games thinking I really should be out in the garden. Neville is a monotone dull boring weasel faced man, Wilkins is far better than Nev and pretty good as a sidekick commentator but should be banned co-commentating on Chelsea games. Not going to say bring back Gray, but do something please!
  24. yep, remember that night ( the return leg) listening to it on the radio. Think if my memory serves it was 4-0 and 7-0 but thats just pedantry on my part! Always had a massive dislike for them since. altho i did want them to win the 84 cup final for obvious reasons...
  25. three quarters nil?
