Great South Run will be fun on Sunday...

It's no surprise that plants like that lose money. I've worked in Fawley refinery and a couple of gas plants in Scotland and seen how little work actually gets done. The majority of the workers who've been in that game a long time have got so used to having it easy, the still want the world when it's not economically viable, but they'll never give that side of the argument a thought. The unions have still got a lot of power, although they dispute that. They're too militant. On a job I was on in Hull we were walking out almost every couple of weeks over 15 minutes a day for the time it took to get bussed from the car park onto the site. So narrow minded, and that's from someone who's supposed to be on that side of the argument.

Seagulls. Gobby c*nts.

That's what I'd like to see. With JWP's set peice ability Lambert will surely have some chances. It's a bit championship but plenty of balls to the back stick if we're struggling to play through them, I don't really rate their back 4.

Getting Astori would be ace, but it's not as high a priority as other positions. I agree about upgrades on KD and Fox. A new wide man if we're pushing it. Would be funny to test Arsenal with a bid for Oxo. He really needs games.

Apologies for my mistake, and my realism.

It is funny. Don't like Holloway and don't particularly like Palace, despite always enjoying trips to Selhurst. They'll have a good race for the wooden spoon with Sunderland IMO
-
9th?

Nothing like Vegard Forren's situation then.
-
This. They had a shockingly weak squad that got them promoted. They'd have a much better chance of survival if they used the money wisely and got promoted again. Holloway clearly isn't the worst manager, just a clown who can't handle a bit of banter when it's thrown back at him.

They're going out less since Guly stopped offering to drive.

'The best coached team in the league by miles..'
Jack replied to Ulrich van Gobbel's topic in The Saints
Which got me thinking, who would you actually take from United for a best XI? -------------Boruc Clyne--Evans--Lovren--Shaw ----Wanyama--Schneiderlin Lallana-----------------Januzaj ------------Rooney -------------RVP -

It we could just sign Vidic, Carrick, that Turkish/Bosnian/Serb/French/English bloke, Nani, Welbeck, Rooney & RVP? -
Can't quite see it being like that at Manchester Piccadilly tomorrow.
-
Fair play, you'd never catch me lumping £20 on a scorecast
-
Yep. I had 2-0 Rooney in the England game so used some of the profit for this. £20 on Saints win at 11/2 and £20 on the draw at 3/1

I'm really looking forward to this now, will be my first proper event. Did my final long run before next Sunday today, up to Manchester tomorrow so I doubt I would've got round to it on Sunday after that drive back. I ran 10m in 1:28:20, it's quite a hilly route and I was taking it steady so pretty happy with my progress. Hoping to go under 1:20 next weekend. Also hoping to drag a couple of people down there with my to hold onto my stuff during the race. They say you can use the lockers at the pyramids but that seems like a bit of hassle.

I'd take a clean sheet now all day long.

Don't waste your time with The Alex. T'internet is crap there and they were playing ****e music over the top of the commentary for the Liverpool game. We gave up at ht as it was unwatchable.

She's probably just a *****, or doesn't like you, or you're not doing well enough, or any combination of those. Keep your head down while you search for a new job. It's far easier to get a new job when you've actually got a job.

I do feel for him. Had a blinder last season but hasn't had much of a chance since Wanyama came in. I'd like to see him more involved in those games at home when we're struggling to break teams down. He's solid at the back and gets us moving so much quicker than Wanyama, and has got a much better eye for a pass.
