Now down to 13 (points for us or points dropped by WHU). Which means if they meet BFS's challenge and win all 6 (unlikely?) we can only afford one more loss and one draw.
Plenty left in this yet.
Mathematically we need 14 points for promotion. Every point we get, or the 3rd placed team drops, reduces that.
When it's down to 0, and not before, I'll celebrate and hope to win the league too.
IIRC they were actually officially closed for at least two hours after the game, but there was usually a back door if you were wearing Saints colours. That's how I got in. Won't say where as I'm pretty sure they should have been closed.
From the Hull City Independent report:
"we'll not face anyone with the same calibre as Southampton - West Ham included"
Will smile at that all day. :) :)
I was there. Felt like more than 300, and sounded loads more.
Close thing between Morgan and Jos, gave it to Jos for his goal celebration and fantastic reaction at the end of the game. (and he was SO solid)
Thanks to our wonderful ticket office being unable to move my ST seat for this game so I can sit with friends (no idea why not but life's too short ) I have a spare Kingsland North adult ticket. £27 face value, will take £20. Please PM if interested.
Would agree. Remember when we got Fox and Richardson in and only after realised they were needed to strengthen from Harding /Butterfield.
Think we'll need GK, CB, maybe fullbacks, RM and maybe CM.
Interesting point from Football Focus yesterday. Both Norwich and Swansea were unfancied to stay up as they haven't spent bucketloads like QPR but if fact they've done well building sensibly on the promotion side. The fact is most Prem teams aren't any better than the best in the Championship. Hope we follow that model.
