  1. We got our goals by being brave and trying the difficult passes. When you play like that, your success rate goes down but threat increases as long as you're set up to work hard to win the ball back when the adventurous pass doesn't come off. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. Good post. One day the unbelievers will wake up to how much JWP contributes. Ah no, wait a minute, he came from Portsmouth so he must be cr@p. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. What's sh!te about that? I'm just celebrating the great result and the fact that we won't have to put up with the posters who love to be negative. I'm totally positive and happy. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Going to be a very quiet night on here from the Skate brigade and general whingers. Merry Christmas. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Was a bit surprised Armstrong didn't get MOTM, but JWP worked very hard too. Defensive shape looked good today. We hoofed well when appropriate, but on occasions the linking of Armstrong ,JWP, Redmond and Bertrand going forward was a real threat. Great goal by Obafemi and Hojbjerg's critics need to look at the assist. Shout out for Adams too. Worked hard, held the ball up, passed well (nearly always) and I just wish he'd got to that Redmond cross. Just needs a goal. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. Deliberately stubbing his toe. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. Ings needs to be rested one game, this one is sensible, and Long is injured. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Probably not as he's injured. But Christmas is a time for fantasy and dreams coming true. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Four years ago today we beat Arsenal 4-0. Shane Long scored twice. Happy days. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Not sure about that but I managed to trap my big toe in the rotating brush bar of a vacuum. I can confirm it hurts. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks as always. At least it's made me a bit more cheerful for the festive season. Happy Christmas! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. And Sky said one of the Chelsea yellows means a suspension against us. Not sure if it was Zouma or Kovacic Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. Should be three games, sobyes. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. He was having a go at himself, not Ings. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. That's a fair assessment. Still needs to concentrate for 90 minutes and hopefully cut out the mistakes - usually weak clearances. He is a decent ball player who can get forward and I'd be interested to see him at DM. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. I was at the game and, although he made a couple of mistakes, Stephens was very good: pretty solid defensively, scored and almost had an assist with a great burst to the by-line. Ralph has persisted with the Stephens/Bednarek partnership and the confidence is growing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  22. That'll do Saints. Out of the relegation places. Onwards and upwards. Happy Christmas. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. So sorry for you that we won. We beat what was in front of us. Now kindly go away and leave the celebrating to Saints fans. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. Too angry to post last night. Just a few points because basically we were just poor and wasted a huge opportunity. So sloppy in the first half. Gave the ball away again and again: Redmond, Hojbjerg and Cedric the worst culprits. Cedric is SO slow. We were far too lightweight to cope with Antonio. I can see the idea of a settled defence but I think Yoshida would have done better. Their goal should have been stopped about three times: weak, ineffectual defending. McCarthy saved us from a worse defeat. Ings worked his socks off but things just weren't joined up. Ings was unlucky twice. So close with the shot on the bar (which Long should have put in) and the foul before he "scored" was very soft. We cannot be as wasteful with chances - Long, Hojbjerg, Stephens to name a few. Would have liked to see Armstrong on earlier. Why only ten minutes? What's wrong with Redmond? (And Cedric, Bertrand, Hojbjerg to name a few) We now have to bounce back at Villa. The mini-revival is over. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  25. I agree with this. If you've read Cameron's book, the story of the coalition is interesting, and references back to it now are very selective. Tory policies were ameliorated and the regime had its successes, but the focus was on the LibDems allowing tuition fees increases. As a minority partner, they were very limited. Where they were useful was in giving Cameron a reason not to have a Brexit referendum. It was when he got a majority he couldn't dodge it, although he wanted to. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
