  1. At the moment, just like A right wing (not centre right) government will not be voted for by the British public. Things can change though.
  2. Don't disagree with that, just had issues with the idea that everybody with wealth votes against higher taxes and a more even society.
  3. Reading bits of information online and making conclusions is never clever. If new evidence has come to light since and the judges clear him then fair enough but until then you have to accept the verdict unless you have been in the courtroom and seen all the evidence.
  4. They were left though, as opposed to right.
  5. Not really, he's still a convicted rapist at the moment.
  6. That depends how greedy and selfish you are. Some people don't mind paying more tax for a fairer more compassionate society.
  7. They were left of centre, so were a more left wing alternative to the conservatives.
  8. They were centre left, that's centre LEFT. Just like the current government are centre right. I suppose they are Labour Lite as well then?
  9. I thought they were supposed to be the reckless spenders who left the country bankrupt?
  10. Except they did three times in a row before Cameron got in.
  11. What a sh!t article. I agree with the fact thatt people voted conservative because there was no other option but that is so badly written, no substance whatsoever. It's just a load of insults, one of these pointless online features aimed at getting people to comment. All this " Labour won't get in power again" is all complete ******** and anyone who says they will vote for a party for the rest of their life is just a ***t.
  12. Even without fee's students rack up a sizeable debt. When I graduated I wasn't too bad but some of my mates were in double figures - and that was with no fees at all, just living costs, rent etc. Even if it is 30-40K that is more than older generations had to pay.
  13. I dunno, most oldies I know have ridden the housing bubble nicely and have decent sized pensions despite not even being particularly clever or hardworking. Things do seem particularly tough for the young nowadays, getting on the housing ladder is very hard, a decent education leaves you 50K in debt. Maybe the old should give up some of their pension to help pay off the debt they created?
  14. You have to feel sorry for Obama, you have seen on here the kind of ****-wits he is up against. Any developed country that lets this happen is just ****ing stupid. America has done some great things and there are some great people over there but the average Yank is thick as ****.
  15. VVD was MOTM for me, awesome display, very excited about this guy. The whole team played well though - ****ing awesome watching it in town
  16. A win at Old Trafford is always better. But this was an awesome win.
  17. No you're wrong, in the good old US of A any lunatic or deranged psychopath can buy an assault rifle. The only logical solution is for teachers to have more guns AND hand grenades. I've played enough COD to know the value of a well placed frag.
  18. Thought Corbyn came across OK there, his style is a breath of fresh air. Will be interesting to see if the public warm to him.

    ISIS

To be fair Russia did warn of the threat of the islamic extremists when our government was trying to arrange for airstikes against Assad, might be best to let them take the lead on this one.
  20. Of course it would, we would have complete control of our borders. We could make net migration zero if we wanted.
  21. Luckily we will soon have the chance to leave the EU and put a stop to this madness.
  22.  I think kicking a ball slowly in a straight line is mastered in the first few lessons of Soccertots, maybe they should book a few of their players in for a refresher. The thing is, as Saints fans we have never had to watch football that sh!t. We throw the term "sh!t" around, for example "Kelvin Davis is sh!t at crosses" but we don't really understand how sh!t some teams are. Through our whole history we have never been at Pompey's current level of sh!tness - and this is their best team in years. I guess to come close we have to think of the worst ever Saints team you have watched. I guess from our 2009/10 season in League One. Then think of the worst player in that side, on their worst day. Imagine them a bit sh!tter - then you probably have the equivalent of Pompey's current best player.
  23. A bit harsh considering we ****ed up the whole region by starting the war in Iraq, then helped overthrow the government of Libya and encouraged the people of Syria to fight against Assad.
  24. I think by 'career improved' he might have meant actually playing better football. Puncheon is the only one of those who clearly has.
  25. I've never had a problem with any money. You hand over bits of paper or coins and get stuff in return, a very simple concept, hard to go wrong.
