Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)
aintforever replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Lounge
LOL. I did heat island effect in GCSE geography I would be very surprised if it wasn't factored in. It could me measured very easily by comparing results to records from rural locations. -
Who's the corpse propped up on the left?

A team of Academy Products - the Rupert Lowe dream...
aintforever replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
A sh!t load of cash, and a chairman who knows you have to pay talent what they are worth. A team of academy graduates is probably the dream of every other chairman in the league - Lowe banged on about it but it's not an original or new concept. Everyone wants to do a Man Utd or Barcelona. -
Absolutely. At least we agree on something at last.
-
I disagree, I think he was murdering out of religious ideology. You are entitled to you opinion though.
-
Both were fighting for a good cause. One the evil of the nazis, one the evil of apartheid.
-
F*ck me, are you 12 years old or something? Do you really need me to explain the difference between those guys and Winston Churchill?
-
It's never nice or desirable but sometimes violence and killing is necessary, just like it was for Churchill during WW2. The only people to blame for the events in South Africa at that time is the racists in government.
-
I see I have touched a nerve with my explanation of your racism. Truth hurts maybe?
-
You're a different type of racist to him, you are just too stupid to understand your own prejudices. "He's a black bloke who killed whites - why are people calling him a great man, I don't understand!"
-
That's because I think you are racist. Like I said, if Mandela was a white English man who fought for our freedom you wouldn't see him as a terrorist. He would be a hero, like Churchill.
-
Because anyone with a brain can see the troubles of that period were completely the fault of the racist, oppressive government, not the poor sods trying to fight for freedom. Many bad things have been done by good people in the past, just like in the fight against Nazis in WW2. Why is that so hard for you to comprehend? Maybe it would be easier for your tiny brain to comprehend if Mandela was a white English man fighting for our freedom against people of a different skin colour?
-
I don't doubt that but the forces are there to help bring security and democracy. If they were there to oppress the people and take away their freedom you might have a point.
-
The people of Northern Ireland have the vote so can decide their own future, the IRA are the enemy for democracy - the opposite to Mandela.
-
If we were denying the Iraqi people the vote because of the colour of their skin and he was trying to change that - and succeeded in creating a peaceful, democratic Iraq then yes - he should be applauded. Any blood spilt would be on the hands of the British government.
-
He was fully justified in using violence. They tried protests and sabotage, there was no alternative. I applaud him for that. If I was in his situation I would do the same. The bloke is a hero for standing up to them racist c*nts. Apartheid was one of the great evils in this world.
-
LOL. Could you even get two more opposite people? One a oppressive dictator, the other fought for freedom and democracy. You really can't be as thick as you make out?
-
LOL. I have read some retarded sh!t on here before but you should win a prize for that!
-
His people were denied the vote and being killed. Maybe he should have just sent a strongly worded letter to his local MP?
-
Yeah obviously. The whole World are showing their respect to a great man, you have to come on here to find emotionally stunted scrotes who have issues with giving someone a round of applause.
-
Absolutely, I would like to think if I was in his situation I would have the bottle to do what he did.
-
Not sure what Mandela has got to do with football but giving the bloke a round of applause is a nice thing to do so I don't know why anyone would have a problem with it. Then again, know what ***ts are on here it doesn't surprise me. I can see City giving us a right dicking. Wanyama and Schneiderlin are massive players for us, with Boruc out as well it doesn't bode well.
-
In your opinion. I think it was completely justified.
-
I think that's a good draw, we're not going to win it anyway so at least we get some big games. Plus we get to see £27mill worth of Saints reserve players rip England a new one.
