  1. If the UK own it then surely Scotland must only be entitled to their share, not the whole lot?

I'm just surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often, it's a killer whale FFS, the clue is in the name. People forget that these creatures, like humans, all have different personalities. Just because humans are not their natural diet doesn't mean it is safe to go swimming around with them. I expect Tilikum was having a really sh!t morning, which is fair enough considering he was basically being tortured by being locked up in a tiny area of water for years. Then having some annoying Yank slapper try and stand on his head or something is enough to make anyone flip. It's the same with these idiots who own big dogs and let their kids play with them, should be done for manslaughter.
  3. I guess that means the UK get a share of the North Sea oil assets as well then?
  4. 6th. Man Utd will go above us but we're better than Spurs, Everton and Newcastle.
  5. It's a shame he's gone but I have every faith in the next appointment being a similar clusterf*ck.
  6. Maybe, but I think it is naive to think that our manager will stay out of loyalty, or to finish SFC's project. He will do whatever he thinks is best for him.
  7. I dunno, he is probably well aware of how Adkins left midway through his project.
  8. No way was it a foul, Giroud tackled him and got the ball. But if it was our player on their goalie the ref would probably have seen a foul somewhere.
  9. It was a monumental f*ck-up. The one at Stoke wasn't as bad but still an error. If I was Poch I would replace Kelvin and get a decent understudy to put a bit of pressure on Boruc, he needs to get his sh!t together. At the moment he knows he is on the teamsheet regardless.
  10. Or taking the only job he is ever likely to get in football.
  11. I, like most people, do the odd token thing like walk down the shop, turn the TV onto standby etc but fact is I know whatever I do will make no difference whatsoever. In my opinion, the only way we can make a difference, as individuals, is to vote in a government that is serious about acting on it. The problem is the rate population is growing and countries like China and India developing I would say anything we do as a nation, or even in Europe will make little difference except set an example. The greenhouse effect is scientific fact, the only debate is not if man has effected the climate but by how much. There is a fair chance that the negative feedbacks are enough to minimise the impact and the Earth will reach an equilibrium or that the cooling sun means that man made forcing actually works as a positive for us. I'm no expert but I'm of the opinion that the current solar inactivity is masking man's impact and when it flips the other way we could be in serious trouble.
  12. Except he had a bloody strong gale blowing into his face.
  13. Today could potentially show up our lack of strength in depth. One key player out and I fear we will get smashed.
  14. B*ll*x, he is the last player we wanted to lose. I will be amazed if we get a result now.
  15. Probably right to end investigations, on both sides. The IRA did some ****ed up stuff but we shouldn't be over there anyway IMO. Time to draw a line under the whole thing and move on.
  16. I love the way the sceptics label scientists as useless, hysterical and agenda driven, then as soon as they find one guy with a degree in chemistry that agrees with them his word is gospel.
  17. It's funny how the people who refuse to believe the science are the same who moan about paying tax.
  18. F*ck me, I learned that in GCSE geography.
  19. Your statement is meaningless. How does the fact that there are natural variations mean that man cannot influence the climate?
  20. The problem is that unless there is a uniform, linear year on year decline in sea ice mongs like Guided Missile will never understand.
  21. Only people with no understanding of the science or with an agenda have been quoting that "no rise for 15 years" b*ll*x anyway.
  22. We were definitely kept back a while, that's why Beasant came out and told us all jokes. Was dodgy afterwards, police lined the street for about 50 yards then there was none and it was just a free for all. I remember a big bunch of skates jumping out and steaming us from behind a petrol station.
