Lallana should score way more than he does.
-
I think 37 will be enough to stay up so yes.
-
But the owner obviously wanted big signings and instant success. That's his decision not the first team manager's.
-
It was obviously Arcdi's money all along, I don't see how that would make any difference to the team manager. What was he supposed to do, say "I'm sorry you're not allowed to spend your money on that player because I'm not 100% sure wether it's you or your dad that owns the club". Get real, any manager would have spent the money.
-
When Redknapp was there, there was no uncertainty about ownership. It was owned by the Russian. Are you saying that if Abramovic cuts and runs from Chelsea it's their manager's fault if they go bust?
-
To be fair it's not the managers job to tell the owner what the budget is. Every manager out there would want the best players possible.
-
What a load of crap. Beattie was superb in his prime, you don't get that many goals in the Premier League by luck.
-
Chairman no 1 took an established Premier League club, relegated it two divisions and left it bankrupt. Chairman no 2 took over third tier club, landed it a billionaire and got it promoted two divisions. How did this get to round 3 again?
-
So does a points penalty but they have still been hit with that. A points penalty when they are already down is obviously not a penalty in any form so there would be a good argument for it to go over to next season, if they go over the cut-off date.
-
When is the cut off date for points being applied this season? We went into admin at the start of April and just missed the deadline so it must be sometime this month.
-
It's just less likely. If we had won yesterday (not beyond the realms of fantasy that we could beat the Prem's worst side at home - even in your miserable world) we would be 3 points of 10th place). Of course making up a 3 point gap over a period of 10 games is just impossible, could never happen.
-
True, how we bounce back against Norwich will be a good indicator of how good he is. He's had his honeymoon period now it's time to show what he's made of.
-
Great to see Arsenal get f*cked over by their rivals though.
-
I think after beating the Champions is was fair to think that 10th place was a reasonable, best possible target. With a new manager in charge and the team playing well. As it turns out our new genius manager was just piggy-backing on Adkins' good work and is in fact a clueless idiot.

QPR are still dreadful, it's just we are dreadfuller
-
Looking like a bit of a waste of money
-
Those blue sleeves look sh!t.
-
Agree. Shaw was sh!t when he came on though and was at fault for the second. Same for Yoshida who had an awful game throughout. Don't think it's fair Fox gets all the stick.
-
Support was terrible. Apart from the Northam there was nothing. It's the same almost every week. Apart from a bit of the Kingsland near Northam and occasionally a handful in the Itchen near the away end you have to wonder why the rest of the stadium bother turning up.
-
Yesterday's result put us right back in the sh!t. New manager syndrome has worn off, our game has been figured out and wether our manager is up for the job is a complete unknown. If we don't get a decent reaction and result at Norwich it won't bode well.

Would Spider & Punch sign up if Adkins was still here?
aintforever replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Of course they would. Dumb question. -
Just mind games, they will be fully prepared.
-
Where do you see yourself a year from today?

All the sales guys at my work are thick c*nts. -
Good on him, hope he gets what he's due.
