I think the Poppy is for all war dead, regardless of nationality so the Argies, Japs or Wops are already included. You would have to be a bit of a **** to have a problem with any country honouring their dead.

You can buy a nice big block of 36 together for the Pompey v Saints match tho* https://www.eticketing.co.uk/portsmouth/default.aspx *in the pompey end

PMSL, have you seen the size of the away end at Dagenham, Hartlepool, Exeter, Bristol Rovers, Bournemouth etc etc?

I can only think of one good thing about getting back in the Premier.

That's the difference, at least you remember the crap premier League games. -
Team work Team synergy Team spirit

2 grand a week! No wonder their search for a manager is taking so long.

Better stadia Bigger crowds Better atmosphere Better football better coverage in the media Better citys to visit Chance of European football not exactly "one good thing" -
I would buy Jos or another CB if we cant. I think it would be wise to get another striker as backup for Lambert. Striker is not a major concern now though because of how well Connolly and Guly have done. It would be great to be able to bring someone like Beattie on if Lambert is ****ged out or in a dip of form. It would be foolish to not strengthen just because we are top of the league, we would be kicking ourselves if a few injuries in March ruin our promotion chances when we have £12million sat in the bank.

It's a good sign when you survive a team pulling back 2 goals and then still smash them, shows that as well as having class the team has character. This is the first Saints team I have ever known to not have a f*ck off big panic button.
-
Great player, always remember when he took out Stuart Pearce at Forest, hardest challenge I've every seen.
-
There is no way he would have dropped a league to manage us if we were skint.
-
But how do you attract and keep hold of a manager like Adkins? It's all about money.
-
The Coventry fan is right, the only reason we could attract the manager and players we have is because of Leibherr's wonga.

I think for crimes like this they should bring back the stocks. The problem with any punishment handed out by the courts is that the little scrote will just think they are being victimised by the authorities/government, they need to see that EVERYONE hates them for what they done. Put them in stocks outside St Marys for the next home game, charge 50p per item of rotten veg, £1 for a bag of dog sh!te. Easliy raise enough to have the graffiti cleaned up.

Also the moronic few who accused Lawrie and Le Tiss of trying to get freebies from the club.
-
Last time I used the toilet facilities at Fratton Park they had no roof. I don't mind watching football in the rain but trying to curl one out whilst being exposed to the elements is just plain wrong.

Shows how sick the world is today, cutbacks are being made everywhere, police, soldiers etc being layed off yet these greedy f*ckers keep creaming it off. I'm looking forward to when the whole system comes crashing down, won't be long now.
-
I was told that when other clubs have done this the coaches get there stupidly early to avoid all the traffic and opposition hoolies. Also the earlier they leave the less time we will have to get ourselves tanked up.
-
Not a good idea, all the tight wads like you wouldn't chip in and we would end up watching a load of sh!te with adverts every 5mins. David Attenbourgh's latest show is stunning, I fail to see how anyone could watch that and say it's a waste of money. The BBC website is also probably the best thing on the web.
-
I disagree, I still think there should be a fans forum. The dinners are a nice idea but it shouldn't just be a select few who get to ask questions. Sure, you get some idiots asking dumb questions but people should be able to ask what they like.
-
Good idea, as long as it's two serious offences.

I've been critical of Cortese over a few things but you have to be a complete knob to phone a radio station to moan in our situation.
-
There are good arguments for and against being in the EU. Problem is given a referendum the British public will vote no just because they don't like Europeans. We have an Island mentality and have more affinity with far flung places like the US and Ausralia.
-
Might as well roll your ballot paper up and poke it up your arse then, thanks to our current voting system.

F*ck off Sky, Monday is a rubbish night to watch football.
