I don't get why people are religious at all, it's so obviously just a load of stories made up at a time when man was developing an understanding and conscience. Having said that, believing in a god or whatever is fair enough, but worhsipping some old, ex-nazi peado is just bonkers.

They were rubbish, I can tell that because I watched all the games live on TV. If I hadn't have watched them, I wouldn't be able to give you an informed opinion

You can have a view on anything but that doesn't mean your opinion counts for anything - for example my opinion of Chris de Burgh concerts means jack **** because I don't go to any.

Problem is, loads of people on here don't even go to the games.

I just hope that Adkins is given time - he's obviously a good manager, wether we go up this season or not he should be here next year.

All the money they have made has been taken out of society by them anyway so it's only fair they give a percentage back.

Everyone who works contributes something to society in some way or another, it's just the value of the contribution compared to the rewards that is ****ed up.

No, just help redress the balance so that people who do vital jobs, and contribute something to society other than their tax, get paid a fairer salary in comparison to the people who are just good at grabbing as much money for themselves as possible.

To be fair, he has taken thousands and thousands of pounds out of society so it's only fair he gives some back. It's not money he has created out of thin air - it's all taken (rather cleverly) from other people. It's society that's ****ed up when a banker (who works no harder than the average nurse or policeman) can earn hundreds of times more, just because his company has devised a way of creaming millions of everyone.

I don't think have a bloated, inefficient public sector is the best way to spend our way out. Better off trim down public spending to the bare minimum and spending money encouraging new business and helping struggling small businesses.

Public services WILL get worse, there is no way of avoiding that. Schools will be worse, the Police force will be smaller, you will have to wait longer for an operation on the NHS and our armed services will be cut. That's how we're going to pay back Labour's debt.

I think the government should not budge an inch over this, there would be very little public support for strikes as most people in the private sector have had to work harder for the same or less money.

I would have gone for a big name appointment but Adkins could be a better long term prospect so I'm happy. The important thing is he's got experience of getting out of THIS league, that is all that matters. Wether he can manage in the Championship or not doesn't matter one bit at this stage.

To be fair, we don't know who is telling the truth.

It's all speculation and I guess we will never know the full facts but that sounds more plausible than the "Pardew caught ****ging a wag" theory. Maybe there was a rift and the Gully signing brought it all to a head?

We are the ones poaching their staff so if we need to cough up a bit more cash then we just have to do it. We need a manager in place ASAP because 3 points on Wednesday is vital.
