  1. Team morale.
  2. How can they prove who is writing what though? Even if SWF hand over my email details there is no way of proving who actually logged on and typed the message.
  3. I wasn't told by their chairman.
  4. I think he will do OK, just hope he's given time.
  5. A chairman of one club says one thing, another say something else - how do we know what is right?
  6. To be fair, we don't know who is telling the truth.
  7. It's all speculation and I guess we will never know the full facts but that sounds more plausible than the "Pardew caught ****ging a wag" theory. Maybe there was a rift and the Gully signing brought it all to a head?
  8. We are the ones poaching their staff so if we need to cough up a bit more cash then we just have to do it. We need a manager in place ASAP because 3 points on Wednesday is vital.
  9. 1976_Child has a point though. The horror, fear, bloodshed, tragic loss of life of 9/11 is no worse than what the people of Palastine and Iraq have been experiencing for years. Their lives are every bit as important as those who died on 9/11.
  10. It is hard to believe how spectacularly badly this season has gone so far. Just a few weeks ago we were hot favorites for the title, since then our billionaire owner has died, our managers been sacked, Lallana's injured and we're in the relegation zone. Is it time to call in that old witch again?
  11. Cortese needs to sort this mess out tomorrow, we can't afford to throw anther 3 points away on Weds.
  12. Structure my arse, you need a good manager and some good players - that's it. Job sorted.
  13. The bloke is obviously a nut job but Muslims don't have to be so touchy. If someone burned a book I worshiped I would probably be mildly offended but I respect their right to an opinion.
  14. I think it's great news if we don't have a transfer commitee or continental style set up.
  15. I was at work, I clearly remember how the news broke on the radio, at first it was "thought to be a light aircraft" then it just got more and more serious. All the websites were down and I remember for one crazy hour it seemed like the world had gone mad with the Pentagon, jets being scrambled etc. You just didn't know what was going to happen next.
  16. Howe wouldn't not take the job just because his chairman didn't want him to, he would have had his reasons. I have no doubt Mitchell would have tried to talk him into staying. My source has been friends with Howe since he was at school, and told me Wednesday.
  17. What did he say that contradicts what I said then?
  18. Maybe, but I know he didn't want it anyway because of the reasons above.
  19. If we are winning 4-0 it doesn't really matter who the manager is banging. The players didn't look to bothered about it at Bristol.
  20. I'm looking forwrd to having a manager whoever he is. I can't help feeling this Adkins appointment is doomed though.
  21. I heard that Eddie Howe turned the job down because he wanted full control of the football side so it would be interesting to know what the manager's role involves.
  22. It's what happens when you sack a manager after a 4-0 win. I expect team morale is non existent.
  23. I heard (from a good source) on wednesday that he was interviewed but didn't want it mainly because of the DOF thing but also his loyalty to Bournemouth. They never said if he was actually offered it or not, certainly implied it though.
  24. On the same note you can't really say "we wouldn't have a club if it weren't for Cortese" as if it were a fact. It is very likely that someone else would have bought the club if Liebherr had not. Plenty of clubs have gone into admin and none of any size have gone out of business. As Marcus said, he got a very good deal; Englands 15th biggest club, a £30mill stadium, a decent training ground + land and property - for how much? I'm grateful Cortese and Liebherr bought us but be realistic.
