That is so true! I'm 47 and hate it when we loose, I just love the Saints and am fiercely proud of who I support. Loosing hurts but I'm already looking forward to saturday, a pint in the King Alfred and a few beers back with the rest of the Didcot saints boys after.

Sorry your right, Dalglish signed Downing, still prefer Nige over Benitez though. He is a young manager,albeit still learning with a strong passion for SFC and a loyalty and determination to be successful at our club, and for what it's worth I personally think he will keep us up, just. For Benitez, it will just be another pay cheque who would sign a load of mercenaries who couldn't give a **** and would set the club back millions and still might not succeed.

There's a lot of the season left. No we don't want to get relegated and take a backward step, let's take positives from the second half and go again, we're not cut adrift yet so stop panicking. I would rather have Nigel in charge than someone like Rafa who signed clowns like Downing.

I am proud that I support Saints and I'm proud we are in the PL and the coverage that goes with it. I love the fact that while a lot of my mates support PL teams I can converse with them about our games more than when we were in the Npc or League one. However it is gutting when we keep loosing and for that reason I'm not enjoying it nowhere near as much as the journey there. I don't want to suffer another relegation so I personally want us to stay up and play in this League however overrated it most certainly is.

Lets face it, we're done for. By the time Jan comes round and a chance to add to the squad we will be bottom by miles. Very very bad miscalculation by however a responsible by not adding to the defence. Prepare for more heartbreaking thrashings, Spurs will get another four at least.

Nearly all successful sides play a short passing game both league and internationally. Long ball nowadays is archaic and usually unsuccessful in the long term. Bright young managers like NA and Brendon Rodgers can see this whilst the football played by idiots like Big Sam and Pulis won't get them anywhere.

Agree about Richardson, string and powerful, a better defender than Fox but he couldn't cross a road. So frustrating. I think tonight showed we have players with good passing ability but no end product in the squad. A shame but lots of them really aren't PL standard. Reeves impressed when he came on and Cork looked calm and mature in possession, shame he got injured.

Was at both games. Brilliant atmosphere at both and stunning attacking play. Both teams were literally blown away.

On MOTD one of the stewards called Clyne a tw.t, you can clearly see him say it. The only tw.t in the ground was you Mr Steward, what's wrong with one of our players celebrating a great goal with our own fans to put us 2-1 up. This is a passionate game so if you don't agree with it then you best f off.
