You’ve got it the wrong way round! Compare the sorts of goals scored by Austin and Gabbiadini. The former is essentially a finisher of clear cut chances (even though he squanders a high proportion of them!), whereas the latter scores a higher proportion of goals where he has more left to do or has to create chances himself. I think we missed the boat on that one. We might have had a slim chance of landing him in the summer of 2016 but we are a much less attractive proposition now and he has an £11m a year contract. Would he really want to slash his wages by more than half to takeover a struggling Premier League team without the prospect of European football?

I think the club are getting a bit creative with their use the phrase "sold out." They appear to be reducing the number of tickets actually available for sale by increasing numbers of seats held back for segregation, and they are giving away loads of tickets through local schools and other organisations.

They entered from the Northam and ran across the pitch in front of the goal in the direction of the West Ham fans.
