Puncheon is certainly putting in the hours as not only did he play Villa Saturday but we saw a return to the old days of having the return game the very next day as apparently he gave the Villa defence the runaround today, Sunday!!

Just watching Football First, what a load of cobblers the comment on MOTD "Villa were in control first half". Like others have said very lazy pundits on MOTD

Seemed to have a good touch and very eager, almost like a bottle of pop that had been shaken up then opened. One minute on the right next over on the Left hunting down the ball. Lallana, Mayuka, Lee, Ramirez, Lambert on the pitch at the same time would be a bit of giggle 30,000+ folks would find out what colour fear is!!!

Something I mentioned in the car driving I think Abonglahor was a bit surprised to see him still at his shoulder as he hoped to have been in space to spin an cross into the box.

During the kick in while the coin toss was going on he was looking over to the Kingsland, someone fired goal wards and he just threw his arm out and stopped it and carried on looking towards the Kingsland. Someone else had a shot and he purposely just twisted his shoulder at the ball and deflected it wide. Thought blimey he's relaxed. what stood out was his kicking which was very accurate, I think once Rickie and Gaston have been playing for a whie together Gazza to Rickie to Gaston will become a feature. Adkins even made a similar comment post match.

I enjoyed the bolloking he handed out in he first half. Very solid and made Jose up hs game too.

Lambert dropped Given for Villa last weekend, so why not might shake Kelvin out of his past nasty Premiership experience.

The Sugar gives the coffee and spirit mix more density which helps to support the cream at the top. Using squirty canned cream is a bit of a cheap lazy way of doing it, and tastes carp. I would have a bit of an experiment, worst that will happen is that you will be up all night getting smashed drinking a more artistic Jaeger bomb: certainly tastes better.

By the time we had ironed out a deal Fox would have still started today, as he wouldn't have trained long enough with the team

For every positive there is a negative: coo-eee! I am your negative! Fixture list has conspired since day one and changes have rubbed my nose in it. Work, Weddings, Pre arranged weekends, see Wigan, ManUre, and Fulham scrubbed.............. You wait next week the nation will have a bout of Famine and Pestulance and Villa (my 1st game this season) will be abandoned due to the number of Frogs and Toads that have rained down onto the pitch. -
Just looked it up 6000 ish miles, 12-14 hours and 4 hour time difference so Jet Lag not so nasty as that our Japanese boys will suffer.

Stood in Hastings taking an order with a customer in her shop, she got a phone call. When she finished the call she said that was my son he just said that someone had flown a plane into the Twin Towers. We both thought that it was a light aircraft, listening to the radio in the car was a bit surreal seeing the pictures on TV when I got home was even more so. Especially the people jumping from the upper windows........................ Still begs the question why?

Ooo-errrrrr! We will have the PC Police on our case with that Muriel!! Get an African player and we represent him with a chuffin Lion!!! Still if he is that ferocious Rooney might actually lose that leg this year!!

Either way it's going to be the most competitive SPOTY in ages, as the glorious sporting feats of the summer are so numerous. Trouble is if someone on the panel sticks in a dopey footballer (goodness knows why they should) he could easily canter up the inside to snaffle the prize. Personally I think: Wiggo Farah Murray With a special mention for Johnnie Peacock, only because I thought his 100m the other night was awesome. The Games Makers will be team of the year. Bolt = Overseas Dave Whatsit the Cycling boss = Coach of the year Seb = Special Recognition Award Dave Weir = Helen Rowleson Award

Always remember Bridgey when he came back from Japan 2002, first game and as they use to say on Soccer AM he was "Different Gravy!".

That's a bit of a shame me and Mrs JBS were jetting in from NY that morning and that game was a perfect fix for her Jet-lag....... me I would just stay up. -
I wondered today how much of this Ramirez cobblers, is a smoke screen to cover all of our other deals: which seem to be smooth as silk and pretty much under the radar.

Errr No! My Manc mate was at OT and Fergie was in preparations to make a change with the obvious player making way being Berbatov. Berbatov was near the sidelines when an old boy standing next to my mate shouted "Oi Berbatov!! Warm up lad!, you're coming off!". Obviously to great roars of laughter from those in earshot. As my mate said summed the player up superbly.

Loooking at the Ramirez thread blossoming to 120 pages (at time of writing) with 2 days to go I would imagine definitive threads are the way forwards to avoid meltdown as 500 folks comment on 5 potential players in one thread: player A "don't talk rubbish he's injured" Player B "signing by tea time" = injured player signing by tea time as the posts are displayed. If you know what I mean.

You could see his frustration at 99 times out of 100 getting the ball passed behind him, when he did get the right ball he did actually make something of it. That said as time passed he also looked like he was trying too hard so was probably gone prematurely for the pass. Dutch lads on holiday last summer did speak very highly of him. One Ajax fan did say they looked very seriously at him as he was fast had a good engine to get from attack into defence (remember v Reading last season at SMS) and vice versa, plus he had good vision for a pass, this was what turned them off him as he would look for a pass rather than being selfish and take the chance himself. Shame really.

My boss is a ST at Loftus road, he doesn't rate Green at all and added obviously neither does Mark Hughes seeing as he splashed out on Green then goes and gets Cesar! Certainly not very high on my list.
