  1. Very likely from Wolves - if you look at their Ladies team Facebook page they are miles more active than we are.
  2. Think Carlisle players have been gazing through the window of Thomas Cook down the High Street since last Monday, when they figured only an act of god would see them cast into National League: having been walking the tightrope for most of the season. Next time you watch Saints playing “on the beach” you have a benchmark to rate them against 🤪😜😁
  3. Seen that given on VAR loads of times, Man U players seem to have a charmed life McTominay especially
  4. That’s a tasty strike for 3-1
  5. Not applemakeyoulookatitautocorrect ?
  6. I think Bearsy use to collect infraction points like Green Shield stamps - almost knowing when he’d filled a book he get a few welcome days holiday through suspension. - His pre match reports were amusing. There was also a time when huge chunks of threads were deleted when stuff got too messy and veering off course
  7. I would say my best advisory @Turkishwas once (when the banter was fun) the owner of the biggest stick in the puddle stirring away (he even had a posse) , once upon a time if you had a slap button on the keyboard, if you met the poor chap he would look like he had fallen face first into an open Bee hive. But life has clicked on, the the world of face down in a device has evolved into a world where context has become old fashioned. You write something on here with your tongue wedged so far in your cheek, that with a fleeting glimpse from a casual observer they would immediately think that you were performing sexual gratification, AND had back it up with an emoji emphasising that you are very much posting in jest, many will smile and move on. Sadly there is a band of newer blood posters who have had context subconsciously removed via IOS or Android, who will ignore the context emoji clue, and pretty much paint “Knob” on their forehead and attack the comments made in jest. There are 2 threads currently rightly high on the board, peppered with random comments from posters safely hidden behind their keyboards, where they truly believe they are posting on behalf of the masses, yet it’s clearly evident that they are typing with one or two fingers, because their other hand is developing cramp whilst piling through a pallet full of Kleenex tissues alongside them. In reality in the context of the threads they truly make themselves look like prize Cockwombles. You just have to switch on your bullshit filter and decide, do I engage, or, do I just think “bell end” and ignore. Or just post a slap backed up with hard evidence for shits and giggles because that flummoxes most of the keyboard warriors. If we supported a team that did not dish up football performances that spin round like a Church spire weather vane in a Tornado, things might be a bit more chipper on here. 😁
  8. It is a weird one especially last night where service was scarce, but also like everyone on the pitch (until Che came on) he was bullied by Burnley. Something I noticed around the time he was looking dangerous, team mates were looking a bit fed up with him as he drove repeatedly into a cul de sac at full tilt and any angle to score was snuffed out by defenders when an easy ball to an open option was on. This “selfishness” was mentioned on here, and slapped down from some saying “he is a striker - I expect him to be selfish”. His drop off in potency seems to have coincided with him no longer driving down a blind alley towards goal but now looking for a better option to pass to which has dulled his edge - his seemingly increased presence out on the wing recently almost backs this up. If this is the case, just got to hope we are doing it for our benefit and not some other bugger he shuffles off to, then bites us on the arse.
  9. One bit of commentary last night that hit the nail on the head. ”Southampton are like Forrest Gumps box of Chocolates”
  10. ……….Nope! ………..can’t be arsed……… night
  11. Ah you sure us lot can’t register for gift aid - another bugger scoring a rare goal!!
  12. Not a clue - someone the other day said they had trouble sourcing a ticket as it went off sale. I would guess they had some returns that added up to just short of the minimum of 500 still going and got outta Dodge.
  13. Maybe that's the plan all along when someone discovered that 4 columns on the spreadsheet had been hidden at the time of sealing the deal. Then someone last week said "err lads take a look at this - the sums don't add up!!" ................................. "err um - sack Sean as he is the one person likely to stop us getting out of this mess".
  14. Yup - Sky know they are up against the chance of winning £250 in the lucky key box at the local Pub Quiz tonight .....................I have to admit to being slightly torn myself😉
  15. 21st May at Stockport County - Edgeley Park - unless that has changed.
  16. Weird! Bit of an outdated statement when just about every venue for the Womens Euros this summer are sold out!? Maybe you should educate yourself a bit more before spouting cobblers about something that is of no interest to you. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-33064421 Or transport yourself back to 1921 where your views would fit right in.
  17. As @Pilchards said Fair play to them given our rivalry
  18. Millie Mott reads the game, and danger especially, so well.

  20. For Saints …….. and probably for the league too.
  21. Yeah ok fat fingers
  22. 5142 - the attendance tonight new record.
  23. Saints Facebook - Answered that question apologetically in a post. Think the Twitter feed might be a bit more active.
  24. If they are outside the Premier league if and when they do implode, no one aside from their fans will give a tinkers cuss. The FA will likely be pleased if Burnley do go down then go majorly wrong, because it won't be in full Worldwide view nor will it stain "the product". If I read it right - the new owners bought Burnley under the same process the Glazers bought Man Utd, taking them from massive wealth to massive debt to finance the purchase the moment the ink dried on the contract. The Glazers obviously had some wherewithal within themselves to carry it out and weather the initial storm. Seems like the Burnley lot turned up without a pot to piddle in. Thinking they could pull it off like the Glazers, must have involved late night cocktails of alcohol and narcotics, one is a global brand the other is a small Lancashire town football club.
  25. Be a bit of a Rum do if something kicks off - but then they do have the first female to get a footballing offence and also the youngest person with the same badge within their ranks. Pretty sure Hampshire Plod will have had an ear to the ground.
