Maybe it was low energy but they were not as proactive in the defensive third to pick up players or stop the pass as they were in the first half. It’s fine to defend a lead but there were a few too many chances for Norwich in those last 20 minutes or so.

it’s all getting quite tense! Nine games to go. Norwich still have Millwall (a), Ipswich (h), Derby (h) and Hull (a) to play as well as the Skates (h) in their battle for survival. They have to win two more matches than us and Derby. Hopefully that means they’ll be more inclined to attack tonight especially as the game goes on, scoring first will be important.

“Chelsea’s inability to respect the sacred sphere, perhaps, explained what came next: after the double huddle came the toil and the trouble.” Jonathan Wilson Rosenior has a six year contract.

It’s been in a few newspaper articles as well. A good nickname for him, definitely one on the Brent family tree.

No they didn’t. I sure there may have been a bit of luck, considering how big the ocean is but the US had broken the Japanese code, sent false messages to help find their location and were strategic in where they placed their own fleet for an attack.

It was the same for the away game. Just hope we have the energy and directness to get behind their defence.

Wouldn’t Martin have had more of a say as we were lacking a DoF at the time?

It was Disraeli in The wondrous tale of Alroy as prepare for worst bit hope for best.

They have a nine point advantage over third so have one foot there already I’d say. Certainly need to up our game.

Only if they don’t pay the creditors. £30m apparently.

Still have two league games to play between them, I wonder what the sanctions will be?

Multi club scouting in action.

New manager as well as changing the majority of their squad in a WC year. It would be mayhem considering they have not been able to recover to their best form these past two seasons topped off by relegation which is unknown territory for them. Also a considerable loss in revenue to deal with. They may do well, but not a given. Burnley would be a bigger threat knowing what is required for a promotion push.
-
West Ham have spent big in January to save themselves and have a board to rival ours for bizarre strategy. Would Spurs have relegation clauses in contracts? A big turn over in players if they do go down. NF owner will do anything for promotion. Probably the one team likely to be up there.

Wilson is injured (ankle). Not sure for how long.

There is a good article on the DT by James Burt of the issues of the game (focused on the PL).
-
Like us, the squad was big but had some gems let down by the manager in the way he wanted to play.
-
Got an assist with the first goal with the layoff although not sure if he meant it.

Sadly, they are looking for new owners now the consortium who had exclusivity have pulled out. It looks like a money pit (£4m spent this year) and in danger of liquidation. Article

Yes, was thinking of Blackburn away game for some reason. Dark days of the season.

Played Millwall, Watford, Birmingham and Preston twice

Saw the last 5 minutes, the game was very scrappy. The ball pinging about and hardly under control by either team. I hope this didn’t reflect the whole match - would have been a difficult watch. one point gained away from home and some thing to build on. Allez VA!

Saints must have shit ton of data if they need a data engineer!
