I actually think we took a bit of a gamble spending £50 million odd on going up this season . Now that it’s obvious we’re not we need to get some money in . Come feb 2 nd at 7pm our squad is going to be a lot weaker . Yet some fans thought staying down here for another season was going to be good . next season will be even tougher with Wolves, Burnley and 1 off West Ham , Forest or possibly Leeds. Then you’ve got the likes of Birmingham and Wrexham who both will be strong. With Dragan and the clowns I can see us looking down rather than up next season .

That’s exactly what happed , the 1st banger this was thrown over the white tarpaulin about 11:45 ish cue a load of Saints fans chucking their plastic beer glasses at the pompey fans the other side. This wasn’t in the stand but by the toilets / concourse as you 1st came in. then the exact same type was thrown in the 2nd half at the saints fans. It’s no surprise they are claiming it wasn’t them - just another myth. I actually love seeing us at Fratton. The locals fucking hate us so much you can see the anger in their faces and how much just being there winds them up.

This is going to be an utter shit day. Get to St Mary’s for7:30 get on the double decker bus and probably get to fratton by 9;30 . Stand around in the cold for 2 1/2 hours and if we are lucky pay £6 for a pint in a plastic cup . Get fucking dicked 2, 3 or even 4 nil and we won’t be able to fuck off to the pub, made to stay in the ground with them tossers taking the piss. Get back to St Mary’s probably about 5 throughly pissed off.

Of course not, just like any other meeting they have. no one from FAB asks what the wider fan base thinks. Nothing on Facebook, instagram, twitter ( x now ) on any of the 3 saints forums I’m aware of. What ever they want to bring up it’s just this small groups opinions and not the wider fan base. Have you fallen for the Sport Republic spin we can’t compete in the top league? What happens if we start to struggle in the championship , do we settle for mid table league 1 ?

What happened to all those that were saying the championship is fun and staying down this season is a good thing ?

We ain’t going down this season, we will get enough points to stay up . Obviously helped by the fact there are only 2 relegation places this season . But that’s the same for small clubs like Portsmouth and Oxford- 1 of them may also stay up.

Have to agree with you here, Scienza has been great for us and has been our best player so far . However we are a mid table championship club and I can’t see many PL clubs coming in for him .

A tough game against play off chasing Millwall. They showed when they beat as The den they are well organised and a tough side to play against. They may get the better of us again .

Personally I thought we let him go a season too soon ( if we had a choice ) . We could have done with him in our 22/23 relegation season. ( along with the striker that Dragan and the clowns thought better off) I definitely don’t agree that his standards / form was on a decline in his last season with us. I also think we brought him back a season to late ( again if bring him back last season was an option) I was one of the few that had reservations about bringing him back - even in the league below where he played all his games for us . From what I’ve seen so far is argue when Charles is fit then he doesn’t even make our bench for me.

Can see a shock result here to be honest a fighting 1-1 or 2-2 draw or even a 2-1 win.

Agree Dragan is the chief clown, who is responsible for all the other clowns he’s appointed. He’s done just as much damage as Lowe did ( arguably more) yet no songs get sung about him .

I like your optimism for thinking we are going to get 2nd, it will be hard enough to get into the playoffs.

But they shouldn’t go unused for away games when some fans are missing out. If the sponsor doesn’t want them then put them back on sale to fans . How many they get is another argument and the club should come clean , for the game at fratton it look like at least over 500 were held back.

Have you emailed the club asking why? The frustration is some fans are missing out on so called sold out away games because of this. you just know how much we are going to get the piss taken out of us a fratton when there is an empty block of 200 odd ( maybe more) seats in our end . by the time they’ve finished spinning this they’d be more empty seats than our allocation!

I think we’ll have to score at least 4 to win this. im not sure we will score 4 so a Coventry win is coming .

According to someone on the uglyinside there are still around 500 tickets left.

I actually think it will be a lot lower criteria than some fans think. if they just use this seasons games than only 4 of our 14 away games so far have had more than 2700. Derby 3300, Charlton 3000, Millwall 3000 and Bristol city 3300. All the others have been around the 2000 mark. we didn’t sell out at Sheffield 1950 and Blackburn 2100 where we could have had more. nor Liverpool in the cup. I reckon they’ll start at 12 games from this season and it will go down to about 6 or 5 bearing in mind it’s not the same fans going to each away game. I wonder how much the club will sting us for going on a double decker bus.
